23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.- Eph. 5:23

Jesus will save the body, but what is the body?

*The body is the church.

24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:(Col. 1:18,24)

22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.(Eph. 1:22,23)

*20 But now are they many members, yet but one body.(1Cor. 12:20)

John 3.5:
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

John 3.6:
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Luke 17.21:
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

(Eph. 2:14-16)

14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

********

14. The wall of partition between the Jew and Gentile has been broken down.

15. The ten commandments (OT LAW) which separated the Jew from the Gentiles in the OT has now been abolished by the cross.

16. All (or both Jew and Gentile) are now reconciled to God in one body by the cross

*****

All people (Jew /Gentile) today are reconciled to God (saved) in one body.

Most people will agree man is reconciled to God, but those same people many times refuse to believe this is done by (or through) the one body (or one church).

That is exactly what (Eph. 2-16) says. It is also what (Eph. 5-23) teaches.

...even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the Saviour of the body.(Eph. 5-23)

The Body = The Church (Eph. 1:22,23)(Col. 1;18,24).

How many churches are there?

20 But now are they many members, yet but one body.(1Cor. 12:20)

(Acts 17:11)(Jn 5:39)(1John 4:1-6)

11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Salvation is "in Christ".

...salvation which is in Christ Jesus ...(2Tim. 2:10)

Does the Bible tell us HOW to get "in Christ"?

YES

27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.(Gal. 3;27)

3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.(Rom. 6:3,4)

The "new life" comes after baptism not before baptism. One is not saved by water baptism ALONE.

Jn 8:24 - Luke 13:3 Rom. 10:,10 Rom.6:3,4 - Rev. 2:10

17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.(Jn 17:17)

3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.(Jn 15;3)

One cannot say a prayer and end up "in Christ" today. That false doctrine is not found in the NT after the death of Jesus).

So why do most all denominational churches teach one can be saved by saying a prayer?

31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners:...(Jn 9:31).

12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. 1Peter 3:12

Isa. 59:1,2 - Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. 9:1,2 -

Will you tell a lie or commit a sin when you are in Christ?

A. yes

B. no

You have just 2 answers to pick from.

1 of them is true

1 of them is false.

Take a guess if you do not know which one is right.

You will have a 50-50 chance.

Which is it?

A or B.

Matthew, Chapter 3, 011: I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire

Have you been baptized with fire?

A. yes

B. no

Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and quote the bible and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

I will match up against you any day any time.

Not only do I love and obey the Lord God far more than you do.

I love the Lord more than you and all your family and kinfolks put together.

As the Lord God is my witness.
