I feel deep sympathy for this woman. I feel that our socirety is so judgemental and if you fall instead of picking you up they point and laugh.
This is a terrible tragedy for the world to face. It's a wake up call.
Her children and family will forever suffer this great lost.
Our nation is silly. Stealing groceries to eat and survive is hardly a crime.
Who really knows.
I grew up watching Suzanne Wrangler. I think she was one of the best in the business.
When people first heard that she was in need why wasn't the media there to help? Whats up channel 50 producers and staff? But I bet you heard her last statement. Which was goodbye, this society and country sucks!!!!!

If this country sucks so much, feel free to leave.
We would probably be better off without a person who thinks it's OK to steal groceries, groceries carry a price tag for a reason.

Besides, the whole grocery analogy is stupid. This woman embezzled $150,000 obviously for her own personal monetary gain. She was nothing but a common thief and took the easy way out.

It's not America that sucks it's the Birmingham and surrounding areas. It's what you drive, how much your house costs and what you wear. That is what people like Suzanne Wrangler have fallen victim to. I know a lot of young women who have attempted to take their own life because of that impossible scene. Take a look around you the next time you are at one of the "hot spots". Everyone wants to be at the same place on Saturday night but they actually despise each other. These people don't help each other, they enjoy seeing others fail so the skeletons in their closets are not the topic of conversation for a while.

What really sucks is our society's lack of compassion, rocket j squirrel's post proves that point!

Her apartment was 32 degrees when they found her body last Saturday, so apparently she had her utilities turned off, children taken away, job gone, facing 20 years in prison, and finally snapped.

Its too bad the news have to jump so hard on a story without responsibility of the aftermath. Obviously this woman had issues prior to the story, but as it turned out she made a wrong turn somewhere and was so desperate she attempted to steal groceries so she could feed her 4 kids, embezzled $150,000, and finally took her own life.

Imagine the pain and anguish she was feeling in her belly last Saturday morning as she got up and made the twisted decision to end it all.

As you sit there with your perfect life, you probably could say she took the easy way out for being a "common thief", but don't you think you could look beyond the nose on your own face for a moment and think, maybe it was more than stealing groceries or $150k, maybe it was about the desperation of loosing her kids because of an earlier mistake, do you think you could have a minute of compassion for the possibility of someone having a tough time to a greater degree than you can rationalize or understand.

Nothing drastic happened to her. She had some bad luck with Hurricane Katrina and then returned to Michigan for a job:
