The governor and the mayor needs to step up and fix the problem. We need support groups to go out and talk to the young community and hear what they have to say and feel about what is going on. We as parents needs to put are children first, listen to them. These kids need some type of direction. The courts should have a strong program enforce to help. Put new programs out to the community. THE KILLING NEED TO STOP, LET ARE BABIES LIVE.
What we definitely need is a new mayor. As far as the governor is concerned he has no support to make any significant moves. There is still the ole boy system here in boston. We as a community have to take control of it back. We can no longer opt for that no snitch stuff. We have to demand that our politicians do more for our community and having officers knock on your door and giving them permission to check your home for guns and then later down the road be charged with a crime if the firearm is linked to one is definitely not the answer. For the life of me I cannot fathom why that would be agreeable within the community knowing damn well that guns pass many hands. Why not demand that the state law officials go after the source of gun sales as a option. The community is quite backwards. I have a young male son who does not partake in any of those kind of activities or associates with anyone who does but in this day and age he can very well become a victim within the community and I cannot allow that to happen so I am opting to move out of the community and go back where I grew up. Just for the saftey of my son. I am sorry to say but all I see within the community is lip service. I did not grow up admist all the violence and I am not going to take my only child through it. There are just too many within the community selling out their own for a dollar.
There are programs for young kids. Pyramid builders and abac. I can't recall the other program right now but it has the same design as pyramid builders. If I recall I will come back and post it.
