Can anyone tell me if the parade is taking place this year on St John's Day? I can't tell from the childrens orphanage site if the parade is cancelled or not. Help please?

okay, never mind, parade cancelled. I wonder if officials took into account the lost revenues in hotels, restaurants, gas stations, etc. My family and I traveled to Oxford from Asheville every summer. My dad grew up in Oxford, and the parade was a great reason to visit the town and most of the town people. I cannot tell you how disappointed he was.
