1 It don't matter if they weren't transported by an ambulance, they were kids that was shot and thank god it wasn't that serious..... I don't care if it was a water gun he had no business aiming nothing at a 7 and 10 year old he's a grown man "now climb that mountain". |

1 That's right, you don't know why he was shooting at them...so wait to make your noose until you have the whole story, which you won't get in articles like this one. |

1 i replied to someone before i saw your link it still sounds like there was an ongoing problem there and it sounds like he was not trying to arm the children, he was dealing with another problem that the sheriff would not handle i bet |

Sounds like this guy was off his rocker. A little too many loose screws. The link website is better for this news story.

I WOULD LIKE TO STATE SOME FACTS ON HERE.SOME OF THESE NEWS CHANNELS SCREWED THIS STORY UP AND THESE KIDS DID NOT HAVE A GUN.THIS STUPID MAN WAS MAD AT ANOTHER NEIGHBOR,SO WHEN THESE KIDS WERE WALKING PAST HIS HOUSE,HE SHOT AT THEM.HE WAS NOT DOVE HUNTING AND YES HE IS A VIOLENT PERSON.HE SHOT MY DOG IN THE HEAD FOR WALKING IN HIS YARD.HE SHOT AT THESE KIDS 3 TIMES WITH A SHOTGUN,SO THERE WAS NO MISTAKE.THERE IS NO CRACKHOUSE OR CONSPIRACY BEHIND THIS STORY.WE'VE HAD PROBLEMS WITH THIS MAN BEFORE.EVEN HIS OWN FAMILY HAS STATED THAT"HE'S CRAZY".THESE ARE WELL MANNERED,RESPECTFUL KIDS WITH HARDWORKING PARENTS AND DID NOT DESERVE TO BE HARMED BECAUSE HE DOESNT HAVE ANY SENSE.I KNOW ALL THIS TO BE TRUE BECAUSE I LIVE ON THIS ROAD AND THE CHILDREN ARE MY FAMILY!

1 Okay, so would you like to state your name for the record? These anonymous posting are laughable. Is there a report filed with any legal authority of this alleged dog shooting? There IS a crack house on Brown Road with constant drug activity. After the Caswell County sheriff apparently turned a blind-eye, the FBI was notified. Check the records. The statement made by Reverend Coletrane is interesting seeing that John Fuqua, possibly saving her life, called the police while Rev. Coltrane's daughter was being savagely beaten by her husband in his yard, as her husband then assaulted the responding officer. Rumors in the neighborhood are touting this as a "hate crime"? I think the Good Samaritan call to 911 on Rev. Coletrane's daughter speaks differently. Did anyone note that the injured children were treated with a BAND-AID and that there were no eye-witness accounts of John Fuqua shooting a gun at the time? Once again, no gun shot residue was found on his person when the police immediately responded to the scene. He actually phoned 911 himself due to a trespasser on his property who yielded a weapon in a confrontational manner when he was asked to leave the property. Personally, I believe any sane person would be concerned if someone was on their property threatening imminent harm. Caswell County is riddled with crime and someone needs to step up to the plate and get the totality of the situation under control. It's unfortunate that these children endured a traumatic event. Perhaps this will prompt their parents to become more actively involved in promoting a safe community and waging a local war against the drugs that have saturated the area. I, too, would appreciate seeing some accurate reporting from the news stations on this story as they are being police-escorted into the area to produce coverage on this incident. Are they any adept reporters in the area that would like to jump on this one? |

we can go back and forth all day about who did what and what you think about caswell county but the fact is that these kids were harmed by SOMEBODY's gun and ain't no band-aid ever going to fix there emotional scars.these children and their family will never forget what happened and that god was watching over them on this day.
|
||||
ok in one way your right it is bad for the children and the fact that they got hurt somehow, but sometimes mistakes happen but to go and distroy another man just because you think he did something is also wrong, so here we have two wrongs which do not make it right and then you have caswell county law enforcement who has problems also / someone needs to look real deep into everything in that county, |

1 Furthermore, these children are in no way responsible for any drug activity that takes place on Brown Rd. How can any of you, within reason, relate these shootings to any illegal drug activity? I understand the human desire to want to feel safe in your own space. I would even almost understand if they were teenage hoods. But these were small children! There is no excuse or explanation other than the obvious. |
