Look out you little gangsters because all of Madison County is packing now and gunning for you . Someone trying to rob you put a cap in them, someone tries to harm you -put a cap in them and someone pisses you off -put a cap in them. Smith & Wesson makes us all equal once again

Agreed. But I wonder what this means from a legal stand point. This new thing for MadCo is only saying MadCo will not prosecute but can be done on a state/fed level. Not bashing your opinion just wondering what would legally happen if someone had to exercise there 2A right.

Good question. MadCo won't prosecute you for concealing in the county, but when you have to use justified deadly force that changes things. Investigations would have to take place to ensure there was no premeditation or other intent other than self defense. I'm sure the scum that you had to smoke would have family that would claim he was "a good boy" that wouldn't hurt anyone. At that point I'm sure it would be appealed to the state level. But if it did happen in MadCo I would think you'd be safe because you are abiding by a county law/ordinance that is not less restrictive than the state law at this point. Leave it for IL to make it confusing.

That kind of thinking worked out well for George Zimmerman.

Even in a justified shoot, you will be spending tens of thousands of dollars and years of your time on your legal defense and the eventual civil suit from the persons family. It's just not worth it.

Maybe we should put that on our headstone,it just wasn't worth it.
It's real simple, don't chase someone down and kill them, but if they come after you put them down. And make sure they are not around to talk about it.
I do not want to carry everytime I leave the house, but there are times that I do.I may be in jail, but I won't be in the morgue

Zimmerman acted in self defense against the young thug. Thank god he was able to defend himself. Its time this legal nightmare ends for Zimmerman and his family. I would pray for him if i wasnt an atheist, but my thoughts and sympathy are definitely with him.

CCW coming to Illinois soon. I expect violent crimes to go down significantly.

The only reason this has not been resolved is because the lamestream media doesn't want it to die.

And that's obviously been a problem in the past. Just look at how many times you have ended up in the morgue already.

Just admit it. You have a small dick, a small brain and this world frightens you so you need to cling to a your woobie.

Anyone else notice how when these fat boy, Dirty Harry wannabes start talking about what they'd do in a firefight it's exactly like an 12 year old talking about what he'd do in bed with a lady? No experience, no knowledge, just a fantasy and a lot of arrogant bluster. It's cute watching these little guys beat their chest and talk about how they would handle a situation they've never even fully considered. So cute.

Arias killed her ex-boyfriend but forensics showed the hell he went through before he died.
Convictions have been made without a body.
Thanks to body farms a dead body can tell a story.
Forensics is wonderful and fascinating.

This is going to be a rather interesting trial.
I can't wait to see the evidence from both sides.
I can't help but wonder what would have happened if Zim had followed the advice from the 911 operator. Something tells me them Skittles and the beverage didn't stand a chance against a gun and that gun would have never been fired if he'd just walked away or drove away or whatever.
This seems to be an instance where the cops should have handled it.

If you shoot a person, completely justified, expect it to cost you over 20k in legal fees.

That said, I typically carry 30-40k in my wallet, so the shoot is mathematically acceptable.

Huh?
"in the heat of the moment?" It was premeditated.

Sorry I can't decipher the rest of your reply.
Go back to school or stay off the drugs--
Whichever the case may be.
