Let us all hope this DNA test will conclusively put an end to the rumors about this crime to see if evidence was witheld or not allowed to be presented in her defense.

I hope one day that DNA testing will be so cheap that it will be available to all capitol defendants. And I hope the results will put this furor to bed forever!

I truly believe that this women is exactly where she needs to be. She is a cruel cruel mother and her husband is sick for not seeing the truth. So sad for those 2 little boys who will never ever be able to really get justice in this world even after they fry the bitch.

I used to feel bad for the husband but for not defending his son's he's just as guilty as the bitch that bore them.

You can't have a fair trial when key evidence is withheld. If the prosicuters were so sure she did it DNA would have just sealed the deal. It should have been done along time ago. How does anyone know that it was not her husband who did it?

I for one I so glad they are finaly doing this for her. Thank God! I have NEVER believed she did this crime! Yes she acted a little strange at the grave but then we all grive in our own way, I know my own mother and sister went a little nuts when my grandmother passed and had an Easter Egg hunt and lunch at the grave yard saying they were spending Easter with granny. Like OMG!{Sorry about the bad spelling} Now think about this, how in God's name sleep up stairs and not hear their children and wife being murdered. I think maybe the husband should have been looked at a little more. I can not wait untill they prove she did not do this and have to let her go. My prayers and thoughts are still on her side.

It's been 12 years since Darlie Routier was sentenced to death. I'm writing a follow-up to her case on ZeroGossip.com .

My question to you in Rowlett: After all these years, do you think the verdict was correct? If so, why. If not, why not?

Also looking to talk to anyone who knows or knew Darlie well...good or bad.

well i follow the case in the papers and it looked to me that neither side had evidence to proe inocese or guilt==thus it was atie. guessing does not winthe prise. But all DNA evidence should be tested. This may prove guilt or innocense and bring a just verdict before a new trail=no questions left to answer just yea or ney. Is she innocent I do not know but I would not be able to sleep at night is real evidence was not there to convict or prove innocense.

Lady justice is blindas justice in the past has proven. Some times the guilty go free and some times the innocent are convicted== the past has proven this. So finally in this case maybe Lady Justice will see the truth with out doubt=will it be conviction or freedom?

Everyone else is waiting too. It will be interesting to see if DNA evidence does clear her. Will the state have to offer her restitution , I believe her husband went on with his life, and his mother took their baby to raise.

I grew up in Rowlett. I was 11 when the murders occurred...and im pretty sure everyone ive ever talked to agrees that she did it. Also..to brii...dont lie please. The people who bought the house first after the murders had all of the carpet replaced. Geez...cant we just fry her and get it over with?

I personally know one of the firefighters that went to the call. He was also one of the first 3 people to go into the house. From what I have heard from him they knew something was strange about her from that scene. I will not go into great detail what I was told because those firefighters got a gag order against them after I was told and as far as I know they still have a gag order because of investigation of Darrin. But at the time they strongly believed she did it.

Investigation ? of Darrin ?
What I heard was that their business was in trouble, so there was motive for something.
Of course many people strongly believe whatever... what about the possibilities of his involvement or knowledge of something ?

When the local law enforcement is unable to conduct a professional search for clues and maintain a crime scene untainted, it is high time to call on the FBI. Furthermore the prosecutor in the Routier case was biased, unfair and out to win a game not to administer justice. Darlie Routier should have a new trial based on justice principles and on the evidence suppressed at the time of her trial, not on "Sherlock Holmes" theories of guilt adopted by local police. Common sense is not evidence.

I don't know if she's innocent or guilty but I know that she was railroaded. And that is NOT JUSTICE.! She should have a new trial.

I agree, the firefighters were there to help the family, not express their opinion to their friends and acquaintences. I bet the police thought she was guilty too. Did they even suspect the husband, or did he convince them he was asleep the whole time ? Wonder if they discussed that bit of info with anyone.... I agree the FBI should have questioned the ones who put out a guilty verdict.

Daily Horoscope for December 8

Libra

Get organized because that's the best way to be productive today. You're eager to be as efficient and practical as possible, but you won't get very far if you don't know what to do first. So draw up a list of priorities and start with the most urgent. Ideally, you should be left to your own devices while you do all this because that will aid your concentration and self-confidence.
