A real shame that non resident City employees (paid by us) are the beneficiaries of so many of our tax dollars that should be used for enhanced police and fire protection to benefit the people who live here! Are there any city employees who are residents and have a stake in La Habra Heights? Fix the roof! Keep everyone safe and dry!
Public safety should be #1!

Another post scapegoating the city staff. Are you saying that if a city employee doesn't live in LHH they don't care about doing a good job? Really? It would seem impossible to have all your city employees, with the needed education and training, to actually live in the city. Think about it.

Have you seen city hall? It's an ancient building with little maintenance done over the years because residents like you rail against spending money on anything besides public safety. As if its an either/or situation. I think we're long past just getting a new roof after decades of neglect, and to propose that is just simplistic thinking.

If you don't want a city hall or city employees and want to disincorporate just say that and stop dumping on " non resident city employees"

Not good to spend so much on buildings. We need fire and sheriff protection more.

I believe it is not good to spend so much on buildings. We need fire and sheriff protection more. The city hall folks are nice caring people who deserve a better working environment that we can provide without severely impacting our reserves

When will the law breaking by the city stop?

They can't follow their own codes, silence opposition or wreak retribution on them, brown act violations, ceqa.

The city won't let people see canceled checks that they claimed didn't exist.

Are they incompetent or corrupt?
