About time. Appears as though the management team has trouble making tough decisions. Or in this case an easy one. Maybe Fullerton should consider contracting with the Orange County sheriff's Department for their police services. In the long run, it would save the city a lot of money. Especially in law suit pay-outs.

Look I know being a Pig (cop) is a thankless job at times. I'm willing to bet over 95% of Pigs who become Pigs do it for the right reason: They love the job, they wanna help the community, they wanna earn a respectable living while providing for their family, blah blah blah! The problem is Fullerton PD like all police forces hates to admit that they have any bad cops on the beat. Are they that oblivious or just guided by their "Police code of protectionism" which states "A fellow Pig can never do no wrong and we must defend no matter what". I think it's both. I think it's time for the fat mayor to act and fire The Chief, release all videos of the incident, retrain all Fullerton Pigs and fascilitate the prosecution of those 6 murderers!

They should be behind bars. Instead...a paid vacation!

Absolutely no evidence whatsoever got Giovanni ramirez arrested! They have plenty of evidence in this case!!

Who's stupid enough to try and claim there aren't double standards for pigs?

Whenever I get accused of murder, I spend time in jail pending bail. If I was a cop, I could bypass that step and just collect my vacation pay. We need to keep cops off the street. They have proven that they just can't behave themselves. Let the City resignations begin.

Vacation pay? They aren't having to dip into their vacation pay.

All they've done is taken them off the streets. When they say "administrative leave", it means they are getting paid the same amount for sitting at a desk and surfing the net all day.

If and when they get fired,(which I doubt), they will get paid all of their accrued vacation without any of this time being charged against it.

But I still laugh at the fact if the victim had been a black guy or latino, even less would have been done about it. This guy was white and his dad is a former pig. Those are the only two reasons this has gotten the attention it has.

These cops are in severe need of prosecution including the voyerer on the watch command. The violent rage they committed is a disgrace beyond words. Someone said above that the cops need to get off the street...so true, maybe OC Sheriff should take over, Fullerton certainly allows this rogue stuff to the enth degree.....these 6 cops were not the only ones, how about the drug feined oxycodone cop picked up in a Seal Beach alley out of his mind charging his habit on Fullerton's credit card....tell me this rogue Chief is not a piece of crapola....

You folks in Fullerton need to look at the video and realize what a useless mayor you have. He needs to go! It was sickening how he said you shouldn't be protesting almost with a mob mentality. You should be outraged! You should be protesting his house. This is disgusting and the people need to realize this isn't a third world country where the police get to do whatever they please. What kind of leadership do you have. HE should be outraged!

Anonymous, if he were black, the whole would would stop turning. Remember when the president falsely accused the white officers of doing something wrong to a black person, and later had to have a press meeting showing him having a beer. If this were a black person every news agency in the world would be covering it and you would be turning over cars, burning buildings and beating white people with fire extinguishers, just like they did when Rodney King was arrested. You folks have a distorted image of the way things really are. Maybe you should step back from those churches where they teach you that because you are black you will never be anything. You are making matters worse by your comments, and you don't even know it. How sad.

The only thing that is sad is that all 6 of those pigs aren't in jail. If you can't see that, THAT is also sad.

If you lived in So Cal, you would know that 90% of our cops are power abusing thugs.

It may be different where you live, so you wouldn't understand.

Our cops are paid/legal gangbnagers.

All it would take is a group of concerned citizens to apprehend a corrupt cop/s by force if necessary. Who do you think the jury will side with ? If it were just you vs the cops then the cop will win every time but a group of concerned citizens will always trump a cops testimony. The solution is for citizens to look out for their own. The idiots who just stood and watched these cops murder one of their own are just as guilty as the cops.

If these cops were Everyday Joes, they would have been arrested and jailed for this crime. Why has this not happened? Does the presence of a badge not raise a reasonable expectation of good behavior?

These goons are all still packing heat, and that's scary too. The big one-eyed guy that taser beat the victim...his gun should be taken away immediately because he knows he's been caught and that he will likely go down, and we don't want him banging himself before a fair trial, conviction, and sentencing can occur.
