The bad economy is a factor, there is no doubt about it, and various organizations and charities and groups are helping the homeless people at La Palma Park now, and the help is being expanded, and homeless people all over Orange County are being helped.

the economy has nothing to with job rates. all they need to do is submit applications for one. i ve seen people get hired like that.

As the cold months arrive upon us, we need to remember those whom are out on the streets, cold and hungry and in need of a hot meal and a nice shower and a warm bed, and we need to provide help for them.

Also of note, is that many of the homeless people can join the U.S. Military, the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, etc, the recruiters need to be there to recruit the homeless people who are eligible for servce.

It was very cold last night, this is no joke, we need to help the people whom are homeless and hungry out in the cold, we must provide them with the basics of food, shelter, and heat, we must help them.

The social workers in Los Angeles went on strike, at a time when people need help the most, they should all be fired, they suck.

Doing the job of helping people should be about helping people, it is not about money. People who are selfish and greedy should not be social workers.

The social workers who are on strike in Los Angeles should all be fired, and the jobs should be given to returning war veterans.

Some of the new health stuff looks really good, for instance, if you are a homeless heroin addict, they will put you in detox for free, then you get free treatment and free housing, and then they put you in a program to help you.

I think that the new health issues in the USA are heading in a good direction.

<quoted text> How sad this is but its the truth! I have girl friends that are white and also have been abused by the hands of there father or some sick pervert in there family. Why and how could u even think of doing something like this to your own child. I never give these lazy bums my money when I'm exiting the freeway and they're everywhere on every freeway with there cardboard sign begging for spare change and when they get enough money they run to the nearest liquor store and buy there booze and cigarettes or call the drug connection, its always the same story and yes they're always white people that are too lazy to work. Get a life!
-- You are grossly misinformed. You are passing unfair judgment on a human being based on appearance alone. Educate yourself before you speak in a public forum. I am white, I left my abusive husband with 3 children in tow. I was a housewife for years. I am colleges educated, and I don't drink,.do drugs, or smoke. You must not watch the news much. We are in a great recession where there are 3 Applicants to 1 job. Homeless does not win that ratio. I did find a part time job after 10 months of feverishly looking for work. Or no where near comes close to making ends meet. I have had to degrade myself to humiliating myself in public. In order to make sure we have the motel room and food in our tummies everyday. Better than breaking the law, or doing something immoral for money to just survive from day to day. To give to someone less fortunate than you should bring you joy. Pay or forward. I pray you don't fall on hardtimes and run into someone like you. Judgmental ignorance.

Well thank god there r some people that care that they get help; but if they don't want it then we can't help them! We need to treat them the same even if they r homeless because one day that could be us or our family! I know for myself I go and take people food or clothes or even a book or mag believe me they would be happy! But the plus made them move most r by the freeways or bridge its really sad! But as a commity we need to help even if our city doesn't want to! Hour own county help other people but they can't even help our own how sad is that! Well u all say strong and do what u can in the right way and don't give up I know I been out there before ; its no joke!

They are feeding people now on the street behind La Palma Park, as more and more people work to help the homeless people at La Palma Park, they have it set up nice with picnic tables, and it is great to see that the homeless people are being helped.

There are programs which will pay you seven hundred dollars per month per person to help the homeless people with a bed and food and amenities, etc.

Also, more people need to hire live-in maids, and live-in drivers, and live-in nurses, and line-in gardeners, and live in butlers, and live in cooks, and live-in security guards, etc, etc, etc.

In Anaheim there are Olive Garden restaurants which feed the homeless people, and Disneyland feeds the homeless, and other restaurants and businesses and churches and charities all work together to feed the homeless people.

Hey tony I have really enjoyed reading all this. I was homeless in lapalma park for a while and it's pretty harsh out there. And I watched a doccumentary on skid row and I could not imagine being there. Thank you for wanting to change things. I am going to thrive and get out of this mess. I just got off the streets again, I am going into a program called teen challenge. Check it out if you haven't heard of it. When I get out in a Year, I'd love to devote my life and try and change some things. Take care! God bless!

There needs to be programs to train the homeless people on how to be live in domestic servants, such as butlers, maids, cooks, nannies, drivers, gardeners, live in nurses, etc, and then once the people are trained they need to help the homeless people to get live in domestic servant jobs. The homeless people can get a job and a place to live all in one spot.
