Isn't there something better you all could be doing with your lives than sitting around picking on brainless morons? Shame on you!

this is for jumble and jive, you poor unfortunate misbegotten jerk. Why do you call Mike Orona a janitor? Are you not aware that making a living as a janitor is nothing to be ashamed of. Mike Orona is the director of operations . Have you inhaled to much paint fumes?

So now in addition to picking on board members, administrators, Mike Orona and Pat Healy, your slamming janitors?! This smells like the same garbage that the Ayala sisters used to write to the Tribune every week when they were trying to explain that they were BP residents and teachers and therefor knew everything about the city and the school district. When in fact, for being "educators" they are too ignorant to realize that they are puting down any person who holds a custodian job. In this day and age they are called "custodians" and maintain entire schools up to the highest standards. Everyone doesn't have to have a college education or be a teacher to contrubute or be a leader. I know, I've been there. Also, I know Mike Orona personally and have never seen my kids'school look better. In fact, they all look great. I also know Mr. White and Mr. Corona and know them to be upstanding and professional (the same traits that Ayala's best friend Bejarano could use.) Those of us who may not have a college degree can still be educated and shouldn't be talked down to in such a way. Why don't the Ayala's just quit hiding behind Bejarano and rely on their own abilities to keep their positions in BP just like the rest of the people have to do?

I just love coming to this site to see what the men of BPUSD Maintenance Dept. have to complain about. It seems to me that there are a lot of people who are commenting who have personal knowledge of the goings on in that depatment but have never complained until now. Doesn't that make you just as bad as the people you are accusing of doing the illegal things you are talking about? JumbleandJive seems to be more than one person...why not use your own names and come forward like the people who so bravely did to expose the real bad people like Mr. Bejarano. I'll bet none of you have read the official findings of the investigations that went on involving Ms. Ambriz or the supposed "slush fund". Who are you people to judge any of the people you are slamming, bad mouthing and insulting??? None of you are innocent of anything and don't even have the guts to come forward and go do your department heads and complain to their faces. You obviously work in that department or you wouldn't have such personal knowledge of these things. What a classy bunch of men!! It must suck to be you people who feel the need to try to hurt other peoples feelings or ruin their lives, you must be miserable individuals if you want so much company! Why don't you just leave things alone-let the investigators do their jobs, shut the hell up and be the MEN you CLAIM to be!?!?!?!?!

Some of these comments have focused on what everyone is doing wrong and how the children are being robbed...If you know that the blog was banned from the district (on the 19th), you are robbing the students, because you are supposed to be working and not spending time reading and responding to blogs while at work, if you have time to be on this site at work, maybe you are not doing your JOB!

obviously... don't know jack... doesn't know jack.. if he/she did .. they would know that Bejarano is the only one working for the kids.. and as for Sergio... don't u know that one is out for himself.. he is soooooo afraid to do what is right for our kids..it is ridiculous.. the only thing you said right is that sergio is .... "a mouse.... and a rat ... and a disgrace!!!!"
HOw great that Bejarano is the only one working for the kids. Can you imagine if he wasn't? Instead of costing the kids $50,000 it would probably have cost much more, I'm sure the kids appreciate the fact that the district is out $50,000 because of him. Maybe I will get all my students to write him a thank you letter!

Bejarano cost them $50,000? Or was it Jack White who "negotiated" the settlement with Ambriz? I actually read the report that was printed by the Tribune. Even if everything she said was true, her whole account sounded fishy. And while I'm no lawyer, I've never heard of a settlement being approved without so much as a lawsuit being filed.

FUNNY ADDITION MR> BEJARANO JR. do you really believe that anyone who ever came in contact with your father would ever read this and not choke back busting out loud with laughter. HA! What a joke this comment is.
I agree that BPUSD does have some of the finest educators in the Nation. You won't work with more dedicated people anywhere. "Loyalty" as you remark, should go to the students, the community and our teacher's. Not to Tony Bejarano who has walked through his life with a chip on his shoulder and an ax to grind with BPUSD. His reign of intimidation must be stopped NOW.
Maybe you know something I don't. And if so, please enlighten me. All I know is what I read online in the Tribune, what my parents (who still live in BP) tell me, and what my sister-in-law who works for the district tells me. According to my parents and sister-in-law, all of the stuff about Bejarano has been either made up, over-exaggerated, and is part of an attempt to smear his name before election. My parents have no connection to Bejarano, and my sister-in-law worked there LONG before Bejarano came on the board. So, while I can think of a few motives for people to lie about Bejarano, I can't think of any motives for my sister-in-law to make up the positive stuff she's said about him. Like the fact that if there's ever a problem at her school, or if a parent has some issue that can't be resolved at the school site level, Bejarano is routinely the ONLY board member that will return her call and actually get something done about the complaint.

According to my family members, the reason so many district adminsitrators dislike Bejarano is because they resent him, someone who isn't an educator, without a college degree, telling them how to do their job.

But again, like I said, I'm not in the loop like some of you guys.

And just because I have a difference of opinion than you do, that is supportive of Bejarano, based on what I've been told, doesn't make me some kind of "Bejarano Jr." or whatever.

If you read the report, then you also read that the attorneys for the school district approved the settlement, I am not a lawyer, but do you think they would let the district pay the money if they didn't think they had enough evidence to approve the money?
