Regardless of the criticism you come up with, I am impressed with. St. Bruno's success in sports and Academic Decathlon, especially since enrollment is a bit low. How do they do it? Something they are doing is working. Kudos to them.

There are good families and kids at Saint Bruno. They were there before too with good teachers and leaders. The current administration is riding the coattails of of a fading ghost. The rot is setting in.

We're gone at the end of the year.

I don't know. I think Carvalho is proving herself. Can't think of any prior administrator who has had so much success with so few students. I won't leave as long as all is well.

I think Miss Carvalho's actions speak for themselves. A liar, a hypocrite, petty, psychological child abuser, punitive, condescending, abusive, lawsuit magnet, unprofessional and overall bat shit crazy. I had hoped our poppin' jay pastor would be able to rectify the situation but she has bigger cajones than he has.
We're done. God help us all.

Of course the kids did well in the decathlon so did some of the kids that left Bruno's. The 8th graders have a wonderful veteran teacher and wonderful decathlon coaches. These children had a great 9 years of wonderful teachers. I would not have expected anything less.

The same goes with the sports. The kids and veteran coaches are wonderful! The 8th graders had great coaches during their athletic careers at Bruno's. It's sad that a lot of them are gone but the kids still benefited from their coaching.

It is very sad that after the end of this year most of the teachers and families will be gone and you will see the decline in the coming years.

The principal and pastor are still trying to ride the coattails of previous teachers. The church bulletin published a list of former Bruno girls that made honor roll at the local high schools. All those girls are products of the previous staff at St. Bruno's. The church forgot to publish that all but one of those families left the school.

Do not be fooled by bait and switch.

Do you think it's normal for a school to advance children to a higher grade as a resolution because the parent is unhappy with the academics in their child's current grade? Advancing a child should not be commonplace. What does that say about the academics and the teaching?

There is something very wrong going on and the kids are the ones who will suffer..

We'll said and and nothing but the truth spoken. Sadly by the time people figure it out their kids will have not progressed as they should while I support my child's school I support my child first. No school who turned their back on many kids parents and staff is worthy of support despite whether they get it or not SBS is only concerned about appearances not about the future of those kids sadly you won't realize that until the. Future comes. I am not rolling the dice with Bruno's my child deserves better and if those that stayed left they'd find that out life goes on after. Bruno's and yes it is so much better carvalho had no business running a school she is in it for her own gain and people like her will continue to step on anyone in her way. She made that clear to many people she revealed her true self to many people to those who don't see it look closely see her for who she is before she reveals herself to you if you think you are special to her you are until you. Don't agree with her fair warning I hope all that was horrible does not happen to you but not likely then again why do you support someone who clearly was so awful to so many? Maybe ask yourself are you as the company you keep? Only god will truly judge correctly he knows your soul

St Bruno is continues to fail. Eighth grade parents wait until your kids enter high school and they are so far behind even in the public high schools

Remember to thank your administration

In 2 years or so Catholic High Schools will start reviewing Saint Bruno applicants and are going to raise an eyebrow trying to figure out what the parents were thinking keeping their children in that school. It's education abortion.

Most of our kids tested in the highest percentile. Those who were low have always struggled at SBS. I know that many of the families that left wanted the school to fail but overall it was a great year. The kids and families adapted well and the changes have had a positive impact. I hope that those who went to other schools also had a great year.
