All catholic school have to go through a thorough evaluation process to retain their accreditation . The last one at St. Bruno's was 2 years ago under a different administration. An outside group of teachers spent a week examining every aspect of the school. They watched lessons, read lesson plans, interviewed parents and students, and they examined a self study on many aspects of the curriculum. They then published a report which indicated complete satisfaction with the school and gave the school 6 more years of accreditation.
Since that time 8 teachers have departed and at least half the student body. This speaks for itself about the state of a once well-thought -of school.
How's the new job?

Oh shut up already.... It's obvious you have major issues...it's no wonder you're in total support of the principal...you are a nut job just like her.
A copy of this post will do nicely, too.

The rotation of teachers is definitely something to consider.... the teachers are merely in and out...just putting the information out. This format is not allowing time for the teachers to "get to know" the children as a complete student. We fear that this rapid transition of instructors "in and out" of the classrooms will eventually take its toll on the learning enviornment...it gives a sense of instability...and don't think the kids don't notice it...
What people are noticing is the "revolving/rotating" group of principals. Eleven of them in the last twenty years. That is a new principal on the average of every other year..and no...it's not coincidence. Certain unruly faculty members supported by a select group of parents have been able to get away with running out eleven principals. That is the undeniable truth. People are taking notice and they are supporting the new administration. Your continued efforts to destroy SBS are not working... That is definitely something to consider... and yes...the kids have noticed that also.

Where have you people been? Obviously you don't know too much about turn around of principals at most Catholic schools. Most Catholic schools have principals that don't stay for very long Why not ask Carvalho.about her loyalty to her last school I believe she jumped that ship to come to St Bruno mid year Nice try blaming teachers for exit of principalsThey left just like Carvalho did.Opportunities came up so they moved on. If Bruno is so great spend time talking about what you are so happy about there Talk about what is so great about it. The truth is if St Bruno was as great as some people claim.this blog wouldn't exist 8t never did before maybe because teachers actually spemt their time teaching rather than focus on a blog like this.Walk the Walk.St Bruno because all you have been up to now is a lot of talk

I agree jumping ship in the middle of the school is not positive to the people and students that you promised lead. Once a jumper always a jumper. Jumping is no better than have a turnstile atmosphere in the classrooms

Revelations of past incidents are revealing themselves. After speaking with families that left, we are beginning to see their point(s). When you begin to inquire about the school operations, you are labeled a trouble maker. Then again we should have seen the writing on the wall when we attended last years "returning parents" meeting. The one where we were not allowed to ask questions. I am still waiting for my question to be answered...I put it in the box as instructed...and still no answer....

You are correct. A few of the parents that remain from the previous year have shared that things are not adding up. There seems to be a concern of transparency with this administration. Many issues continue to be arising daily

It's very sad that the admin didn't learn from their mistakes last year. I don't want to see anymore children suffer because of them.

I don't know why you think I'm from playa del rey. I have no idea what you mean by "white tiger." I only have one child enrolled at SB and this is his first year. I grew up in La Mirada. I am simply wanting to know what "issues" there are this year so I can make the best decision for my son. It was a simple question. I am not trying to fool anyone. Just trying to become informed. If the administration won't share information and I get jumped on by parents when I ask for information, how is anyone supposed to make an informed decision?

Wow... Are you really asking those questions. By asking those questions you should be able to figure out the answer. Dah
