I agree with the thoughts that the liberals did it, which is what Ca is all about with all of the fruits and nuts around, but you can not be all that bright if you are traveling 10 to 5 miles out of the way to not pay a few cents more in taxes that supposedly help the city you live in. So you do not seem to mind pissing away gas, causing more pollution and the wear and tear on your car because you want to act like a baby. Gee, are you sure you are not a liberal

I would be fine with you moving to a less liberal state, say a good conservative one like kentucky, They dont over tax there, they cant because they live off the federal govt, which lives off the liberal states. Do some research tea party fool

You don't understand. There is plenty of money in our tax coffers. Taxes should be reduced, not increased. Increasing them encourages waste, since those in control of writing the checks are writing them with your money. It doesn't make sense that they should budget the money for your benefit. It makes sense to budget the money to empower their chances for re-election by the ever increasing democrats illegally imported from impoverished nations, with limited education.
Always scream out against any new tax if you have a brain in your head. It won't stop the financial collapse of California, but it can slow it down until you're not around to worry about it.
The fact is, you're being taxed without your consent every time ben bernanke prints money and gives it to the banks. Inflation is simply a government tax on your money. The fact that a half gallon of milk is $4, means you're being taxed .50 cents for every unit since 2009. That goes for bread, and other items you purchase with your inflated dollars. So voluntarily voting to tax yourself is not only bad for you, it encourages those in power to continue doing what's putting your children in the ditch in the first place.

Sure it's good from the city manager's point of view. They are sucking up more taxpayer money! For consumers, it's terrible. Add on the sweeping new taxes, fees, and fines that are coming and it's going to get draconian. Red light automatic $1,000 tickets are in the future. Get ready La Mirada residents, get read to take it in the as_s courtesy of the politicians and public unions.
