of the 1,500 units that are proposed, a minimum of 10%(150) of those units must be made available to low income-section 8 dwellers. in other words, gangs, tagging, drugs, theft, vandalism, etc, etc.

Rowland Heights residents you were fantastic!! What a great turnout from all segments of the community. Everyone who attended, especially the speakers, is to be congratulated.

We won this battle decisively, but we must all remember the war is not yet over. Trammell Crow has two weeks to file an appeal to the Board of Supervisors, which they will probably do. However, even if they do appeal, the Board will probably not hear their case until after the holidays - so that will provide a little time for all of us to relax a little and get re-energized for the next phase.

Once they do appeal we must ramp things back up and start bombarding each of the Supervisors with letters letting them know we don't want our Community Plan amended without our full participation. This is our community and we have to face the downside of any poor planning decisions.

We are almost over the goal line. Rest a little and get ready for the final push to kill this ill-conceived project. Thanks again to everyone who picketed, handed out fliers, made phone calls, helped with the planning, helped with the legal fees and printing and all of the other tasks that allowed us to succeed in the first phase.

Congrats RH residents!
Keep Trample Crows and Residents under control - they've done more to ruin the quality of life here in the San Gabriel and Pomona-Walnut Valleys than just about anybody else.

Since you live in Diamond Bar, you may want to check out the proposed specific plan for the Site D development where the City and School District are proposing 220 units of high density housing. I beleive there is a website against it too.

Excellent work to everyone that attended the RHS meeting on the proposed new buildings!!!
As was posted above, we have to keep at it! Can't
sit back and let everyone else do the work.
We HAVE to let the Supervisors know we do NOT want
these new homes erected.
To the leaders of this rally,,, try to get some television stations to cover the next meetings!!!
That would really help our cause. It would get outsiders coming in to help!!!
The public sentiment on our side!!!
