Almost everyone involved in the process understood that not everyone would be happy with the outcome.

There is a logical choice for the Baseline League: Colony.

Colony has a similar enrollment, Same sports as the other Chaffey Joint Unified schools (Upland has Mens Volleyball) Recent CIF champs in football and basketball, it's boundaries are contiguous with Rancho Cucamonga and Etiwanda.

Glendora doesn't make a lick of sense for the Tartans or for the rest of the league. They'd end up spending the most in travel and jacking up the rest of the leagues travel expenses as well.

I am confused. The Sun is supposed to be covering "local" schools. Yet, the entire article is about a re-leaguing proposal that has nothing to do with our local schools. When I turn the page and see the list of league lineups for next year, I find that the new high school in Redlands is assigned to a new league. Since the kids that live in our area attend Redlands schools, including Citrus Valley, I would think that would be the hot topic for the front page of the sports section not a league that has literally nothing to do with local high school sports. Our schools don't even play the schools mentioned in the lead article. Maybe the writer should have written one story for the papers that cover that area and another for The Sun, whose readers could care less about anything west of the I-15.

This is understandable. The Daily Bulletin and the Sun are owned by the same corporation and reuse stories for each edition.

I live west of the 15 but I care about how REV and Citrus Valley get treated. The shake up in the Baseline League is just a precursor for what's about to happen to the Citrus Belt. It is in the best interest of the Citrus Belt region to keep the best schools together, similar to what the Baseline, Southwestern, and Big VII leagues do. What happens west of the 15 will have a butterfly effect on the schools in the Redlands Area. You may wish to care more in the near future.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Leo

Perhaps it's the fact that it's Christmas Eve and everyone is busy, but you can't help feeling that you're walking on eggshells around certain people. Their emotions are very close to the surface and could erupt at a moment's notice, perhaps in a storm of tears or a fit of pique. Calm them down and ask if you can do anything to help.
