The job has aged him 20 years... or more!
But it's all about the power. Money & the pursuit of power is intoxicating. DA Re-hab needed.

I find it interesting that my letter about ongoing corruption hits the paper Tuesday and then, Cohen and Parker prove I'm right today, by saying there is nothing to the allegations by many parents, children and other councilors who witnessed Melissa Jones and Alicia Allen abusing juveniles at juvenile hall.

Three other papers told the full story , Chico News and Review, Sacramento Valley Mirror and Pioneer Press.

Did the DA and Sheriff interview all the witneses?

It happened five years ago and we commented to the Board of Supervisors, Sheriff and DA about our concerns. I do not know what other allegation they are talking about, but they knew about this way before 3 years ago.

Did Daily News reporter Geoff Johnson see the investigation? I know law enforcement says they can not release it, because there are juvenile's involved, but they can black out their names and let a reporter see physical proof of an actual investigation.

I bet he never saw it, because like the Jones molestation case, they never investigated, just pretended they did?

If nothing happened, why did all three employees involved quit this summer, only after the story in Chico News and Review broke?

Did the DA and Sheriff talk to Barry Clausen, the original whistleblower, who was fired for blowing the whistle?

Did they wonder why Melissa Jones pulled a Glock on Barry Clausen and threaten to kill him, if he didn't back off the story he was writing?

Ever wonder why the television stations don't and won't touch these stories, like KRCR Anchor Jennifer Scarbourough, and Parker's right hand reporter girl, won't report this story, even though she says in her commercial ..."there are four, five different angles to a news story and we try to give our audience the all sides". Not in Tehama County Ms. Jenny, not in Tehama County...

Finally, if none of it makes sense, then it's not the truth. Try again Cohen and Parker...This was your lamest cover-up so far.

Especially, when Cohen, who just happens to announce his candidacy to Tehama County on the front page right below the headline "DA, No charges in juvenile center case" says in his announcement that his "emphasis is on sex offenders...Tell that to Jones family. Tell it to the parents of troubled teens, who should have been saved from county paid predators.

Cohen and Parker are full of lies.

I think I'll call Barry Clausen and see if anybody from Law enforcement interviewed him about his allegations?

Everybody should know about another case in which DA Cohen did nothing. This was back in September when two juveniles were beaten by two adults. One man was charged ( it wasn't worth the trouble),the other adult was let go but these boys will want to know where the law was.I have to agree that Parker and Cohen only do the cases in which they think won't ruffle any feathers. The Attorney General would have a full time job if he started looking into some of the cases. Be sure to vote and not for the incumbent.

There are some questionable people working under Cohen that need to go. If Greg Cohen loses the race will the underlings go too?

Are you insane? You should do a little research before you make yourself look stupid. So you have to be "from" Tehama County to be able to serve? He has been the DA for 10 years, asst. DA in Shasta County, and a Federal Prosecutor in California. Maybe you should really know what your talking about before you run off at the mouth! As a matter of fact most of these "rants" sound like people who know a whole lot about one side of a story (there is always two sides to what happened). If you really take a minute to get to know Gregg you will find a honest, sincere, hard working man who really cares about people. Come out from behind your computers and meet him, talk to him, and ask him for yourself. He is the kind of guy who welcomes thoughtful discussions.

What are you basing this on? DA job does not pay well, what "power" does a DA in Tehama County have? Get real, he is doing a great job in a County that has NO money, yet we are relatively safe (compared to others). You have no idea how hard this guy works, or how lucky we are to have a DA that really cares!

Obviously, you have no problem with politicians, who protect pedophiles. I and the mother of the four year-old who was molested by "good friends of ex-Sheriff Ron Koenig" tried to look at the investigation to see if there even was one.

Cohen promised we could have it.

We went there to get it and the Secretary said he was out, even though he said earlier he and the investigation would be there to look at...and she didn't have the authority to give it to us.

Right when she was explaing this, the other door opened and closed, but we couldn't see anyone. I asked if that was Cohen that just left?

She said she didn't think so.

We ran into the hall, just as the door slammed going to the staircase. We entered the stairwell, yelling at Cohen to stop. We could here him running down the stairs.

We got to the bottom floor and saw Cohen running across Oak Street through the glass doors.

We followed and finally caught up with him.

Can you believe our macho DA was crawling on his hands and knees and ran away to avoid doing what he had promised to do. he gives new meaning to the word pig!

i can not believe greg is still in office he is an unsencetive person to get votes he will do anything to win a case even if a person is innocent he will submit false info and withold the truth. you cannot put such power in a person like this harming families to get points to make him look good and putting people away he tells you are a threat to society jjust look at past board of supervisors agendas to see how much of your money he gets to go after white collar crimes and to investigate superficial cases to pay for traveling expenses his cases cost the tax payers thousands of dollars to pursue even if innocense is obvious he has to cover his ass to mAke sure there is a conviction after spending two to three hundred thousand dollars are each case for court costs investigations witnesses traveling motels foo gas etc. people have been sent to prison just to get his name as good deeder when he is actually terrorizing families with illegal searches and promiscuos prosecutions costing tax payers millions who do you think is paying for the helicopter that tide task force crashed while snooping at tree level in citizens backyards. that was about a million we had to pay red bluff airport back. just to confiscate legal growing medicinal marijuana from private property invAsion of privacy and looking beyond the scope of duty to add to his collection of convictions

Gregg Cohen has knowingly and maliciously been trying to prosecute me. His friends the Arrowsmiths issued a citizens arrest on me for being on my own land. Gregg had his deputy da Matt Rogers try to intimidate me into signing an admition of guilt to crimes that I did not commit. Also wanted me to sign away my property rights, this was all to try and limit the liability of his friends illegal actions and malicious conduct against me. His friends have committed 9+ criminal penal codes against me. They are the ones who should be prosecuted. Gregg and Matt should both be held accountable for their unethical and professional mis-conduct. The ca state bar and the attorney general have both been notified of their illegal and unethical conduct. Gregg should not be allowed to practice law or be in the position of authority he is in. He does NOT posses the integrity or ethics to do the job properly. You first have to abide by the law before trying to enforce it.
