I think we all know his answer to that without him painfully having to say! Heh heh heh heh

Come on, he's one of the ones who whooped it up as late as 2011 about that 8 game streak, but now wants to claim their 1 game streak is all that matters because they supposedly live in the present! He changes his tune all of the time to suit his arguments regarding UCLA.
When a USC player joked about Trojans getting paid, he said it must be true if a player is saying it. But he wants to conveniently what ignore what Walton, A UCLA ATHLETE, said about JW & SG playing players!!
All I know is had you been listening to my pronostications since 2010, when I said USC would have a decent year in 2011 (they were 10-2 and that the real lanor pains would start in 2012, and worsen over the next 5 years, you wouldn't crying like a littel beyatch as we speak. UCLA now rules L.A. Football - the sonner you come to grips with this, the sooner you will snap out of your depression. Not until 2018 will things return to normal...remember you have one more year of scholarship reductions.

LOL!! Not crying like a little bitch, just telling the truth. You contradict yourself all of the time.

At least win a BCS bowl before claiming you are the rulers of anything. One decent year does not a ruler make.

When one of our players made a stupid remark, you said it MUST BE TRUE if a player is saying it. But you ignore that standard when it's UCLA.

Face it, you're a hypocrite and can't admit when your team does anything wrong, OR be honest about how good they are or aren't.

I think CPEM had it right when he said if you look deep and hard enough into any program, you are going to find "it" (it being the many things that the NCAA doesn't allow in their amateur handbook).

I for one do not like young men acting like fools because they are looking beyond college to a bigger, more lucrative payout, nor a player doing something illegal on the field to gain an unfair advantage.

But in relation to strictly college football here, I find players making chop blocks, or pushing teammate ball carriers into end zones to unfairly assist in their scoring as more offensive than I would those players parking in handicap spaces or taking money, cars, etc if offered to them.

Does this mean I condone their non-football bad behavior? Certainly not! But if we are basing these men (through these forums) on their athletic ability to play football, then what happens outside of football would be the same as an employer prying into our private lives to see if we uphold their upstanding citizen status, whether that has anything to do with our work performance or not.

Heck, say (funny example here) if CT is an exemplary employee wherever he works, but likes to dress in lingerie and watch gay porn in the privacy of his bedroom then so be it. What is the difference with a college football player.

Maybe every university should be allowed to give all scholarship players an “amateur yearly allowance” based on the revenue the school brings in.

I don’t really know here, but just saying because it seems like a lot of underhanded deals are always in the works to try and gain an advantage over the competitors. Sure sounds like college football/basketball is already Corporate America to me guys..........

Sounds like you are proud of your Rainsoaked Warriors even though they could not score on USC until the last 30 seconds of the game on a Hail Mary pass when all our subs were in. You wanna talk about an embarrassment? Try Norm Chow and your second-tier Hawaii team who are so inept that theyt cant even entice superior mainland talent to go to your school in beautiful Hawaii... Yes I'm proud.they have little money their graduation rate is in the top ten. We might be second tier, but no CHEATING and wanna be FAME WHORES on their team. I'm proud my boy is there. And he was the crew that got that SAFETY against the #24 team.

Please don't ask that of CT because like Herman Munster, all his mirrors would crack. And that could really cause him injury, especially the never-viewed ones he has on his bedroom ceiling!:)

<quoted text>Thanks! I do figure we will get our points, but I know their QB (Martinez) can take it all the way himself on almost any play.
Nebraska feels we snuck in a victory or them last year in the Rose Bowl, so they would like nothing more than to avenge that loss. Their house can really rock but I do have faith in our kids!
Go Bruins!
We have a very young D-line, and backers, so The Bruins will score. Martinez can change a game, either for us or against us, it depends on what mode he is in. Nebraska rarely loses at home. Huskers 35, UCLA 28. I just hope it is a good game. To all the Bruin fans out there, so sorry for to hear about that young man. Our hearts here in Nebraska go out to you. When something like that happens, it really proves that football is just a game, and these are just kids.
