She deserves the death penalty. This is the type of crime that California voters had in mind when we overwhelmingly voted for the death penalty.

The FIRST sentence reads:
"The death penalty is reserved for not only the worst crimes, but for the worst people - and Manling Williams isn't the ladder, said defense attorney's Monday."

Ladder????
Doesn't anyone proof read.

Obviously it should have been "latter".

Did she show her husband mercy as she was hacking him to pieces with a sword? Or her sons as she was smothering them to death? This is the worst type of crime and she is the worst type of person. She deserves to die a slow horrible death, not the quick efficient one that she will get with the death penalty. She can rot in hell for all I care...

Are you sure she's a "fat Republican"? She doesn't look fat, and "most" minorities are Democrats.

It doesn't matter what the court says; Governer Moonbeam will ensure the death penalty is revoked...again.

I can't imagine a crime that is worse.
Put aside serial killers and and just look at the evilness it takes to kill your own children and husband. There isn't evilness greater that I have seen.

"The death penalty is reserved for not only the worst crimes, but for the worst people - and Manling Williams isn't the latter, said defense attorney's Monday." If the lawyer an idiot? murdering children is the worst crime you imbecile. Lots of people have crappy lives and they don't go around murdering people. What makes her hard life more important than any other hard life. She is a waste of human life.

"has to be something for her to do that..."

Like what? If there was any edvidence of Domestic Violence then the defense would have latched onto the "abusive husband" excuse. Instead, it's the old " I had a horrible childhood" excuse. THAT STILL DOES NOT EXPLAIN KILLING THE CHILDREN. Sometimes people are just evil. She is evil. The defense claims she's someone worth saving. Worth saving to do what exactly? Eye for an eye is what I would vote for this case.

It doesn't matter if she gets the death penalty of life in prison, she won't be executed anyway. So what's the difference?? The death penalty in CA is a joke, now if it was Texas that's a whole different story...

I guess civil rights mean nothing to you. The only thing that sets us apart from the thrid world is our compassion to provide a defense for any person. No matter how vile the crime of the accused, and in this case the convicted, you cannot place any blame at the feet of the defense attorney.

What will you do if they come for you? I will resist the Nazi argument so often inserted here, and remind you that my family members were shipped off to concentration camps here in California in the 1940's because some bigoted government hacks thought native born Americans were subversive because of their epicanthic fold.

This case can have no happy ending. Killing Manling will not provide relief or closure to anyone close to her husband or children. The only emotion that will give comfort is forgiveness. I know in the circumstances that will be harder on the soul than accepting the death of beloved family member and his kids. The relief of forgiving will rewarm the hearts so damaged by Manling. Vengence belongs only to God, no mather what path you follow in faith.

If killing three people (two innocent children) is not the worst of the worst, I would like to know what is.

She wanted to get out of her relation ship with her husband, you jack wagon, didn't you read the article. She didn't want a divorce or be responsible for the kids so she killed them.

She committed a bad crime so that makes her a bad person. Too bad she couldn't be smothered and hacked to death.
