Santa Monica police chief: Shooter a "cowardly murderer"
Santa Monica Police Chief Jacqueline Seabrooks called a rampage that left five dead and five wounded in the city Friday the work of a "cowardly murderer," but stopped short of calling the incident a school shooting.

The killing of any innocent person is a tragic loss. The misrepresentation of a news story for the spread of fear is also a tragic loss of news reporting credibility meant to induce panic. If the reporting of the Santa Monica killings had been accurate it would have clearly stated that the gun man did have a AR15 'style' semi-auto rifle, but the other 'assault weapons and equipment' he carried were a non-functioning part of another rifle, a load bearing vest and not body armor, and a black powder revolver probably replica of one made in the 1800's. News reporting should be an accurate account of actual incidents, not glorified, untrue and misleading fairy tales fabricated to induce fear in the hearts of the uninformed. Misrepresentation of facts terrorizes everyone. Any liberal news agency purposely intended to misguide people's thinking is a dangerous thing.

Page A11- Opinion page, Tuesday
June 18,2013 San Gabriel Valley
Tribune tells a story of a 72
year old woman protecting
herself and her 85 year old
husband from a 'hot' burglary
at 12:30 a.m. by firing one
shot from a legally owned
firearm. After calling the
police(where were they???) and
getting no response she fired
one shot missing (darn) the
intruder, police later caught
the suspect (after wiping donut
crumbs off their lap I'm
guessing). The paper then goes
on to say "But is this really
such a great example of hand
gun ownership protecting lives
and property?". YES! They go on
to say that the prowler was
unarmed, how the 72 year old
was such a bad shot (how many
times have you heard of police
shooting 12 to 20 times at a
suspect and not hitting them?),
that such a response was
excessive because the elderly
couple did not know if the
criminals intent was to do harm
to them (guess they are
supposed to be mind readers
also). Write your opinion to
these liberally biased papers
and try, try, try to get them to
accurately report, not
opinionate the news.

These liberal mind bending news editors would have much rather reported that two eldery seniors were found tied to a chair three days after their children hadn't heard from them. They were terrorized, the house ransacked and all of their money and posessions had been taken. The two law abiding seniors have been released from the hospital but with the criminal still at large, they are terrified to live in their own home.Luckily no one was hurt. (hah)

She didnt' have the integrity to say "yet another cowardly murdering Muslim"....that would have been factual but not politically correct.
The inherent dishonesty of "political correctness" always trump the Truth in limp wristed California.

Just keep ignoring the fact that Muslims are starting to attack us more and more.
