Lawsuit filed to stop La Habra Heights City Hall renovation

In the article, city manager Shauna Clark states the city hall project is "statutorily exempt".
She is incorrect, it is "categorically exempt".
The difference is the reason the lawsuit is valid and the city did not follow state law, big surprise.
Once again, residents are on the hook for legal fees and costs because someone doesn't seem to know what they are doing.

Power to the silent majority! Public safety is #1! All else may be nice but perhaps a little wasted expense and not represented on my tax bill!

Lawsuits cost a lot of money. This one hasn't achieved anything except sucking money from the city. The last meeting said the renovation would be done in a few months. What a waste this lawsuit is. Judge refused to stop the renovation. Here's more about the people pushing this lawsuit.
