Small Business Owner, what do you own a porn shop? It seems like you weren't cut out to be a cop only 15 years. So I was right, mental stress or a little back pain that us tax payers are paying for. So you have to feel like a man and be a reserve and work for free? Seems like your the fool. This is how foolish you are, aren't you hiding behind your keyboard too? Also, if you aren't wearing tan and green then you aren't protecting any La Mirada citizens, are you? So you must be O.C. reserve slug
once again you have no idea what you are talking about you cann ot be a reserve wit any department if you are collecting any type of disability from another.

Wow, why are you letting this guy get to you? Your usually more rational than this (even though I don't always agree with you) You don't owe this guy an explanation. As for Big Jerk, I actually agree with some of your comments, but you don't have to live up to your name during delivery.
He's not getting to me at all. But your right. It's my philosophy that everyone's opinion is important and what has made America such a great place, but this character has no opinion, he's just agitating so I just couldn't resist seeing how silly he would go.

NorthOCNewsHound, I am just trying to get to the truth. You said you left LASD after 15 years. This is a simple question, did you retire on a disability or did you straight out retire? And if you just straight out retired only after 15 years, then you werent really cut out to be a cop anyways. I hope you enjoy your little small business. From a respected cop to a small business owner, what a loser!

big jerk,

It appears you are diminshing the worth of a small business, and their owners. I can guarantee you that more people are dependent on small businesses than you think. While you may claim you are a respected cop, your respect should extend to those who make your job possible. No, not through job security such as idiot criminals, but through our taxes. Without small businesses, you are nothing. I have very little respect for someone who thinks he's so high and mighty that he can look down his nose at anyone who isn't a cop.

Let me tell you a little something about how small businesses contribute to our economy. You can go ahead and make the argument that our economy is in the dumps right now, but it doesn't lessen the impact small businesses have on our community. The following are US statistics, but anecdotally you can correlate the data for a mid size city such as La Mirada (if you're capable). Small businesses are those which are closely held, or generally under 50 employees.

Small businesses make up 99.7 percent of all employer firms.

Employ about half of all private sector employees.

Pay more than 45 percent of total U.S. private payroll.

Have generated 60 to 80 percent of net new jobs annually over the last decade.

Create more than half of nonfarm private gross domestic product (GDP).

Hire 40 percent of high tech workers (such as scientists, engineers, and computer workers).

Are 52 percent home-based and 2 percent franchises.

Made up 97 percent of all identified exporters and produced 28.6 percent of the known export value in last fiscal year.

Yes, many people find worth, success, and happiness running a small business. It is sometimes hard, but very rewarding. While law enforcement is a necessity in our world, you in particular are nothing special. Who cares what OC hound did, or continues to do, from previous posts, he's obviously more respected and provides more input to our economy than you. Since you're not smart enough to run a small business, you have decided to let someone else manage and run you. You have no impact on your employer. Think about it, you are simply an employee number and if it weren't for civil service, you'd probably be too stupid to find a job where you'd be held accountable for being successful.

Have a nice day jerk.

I'm sorry if you're unable to recall what you wrote one day prior. In a post dated October 7, you wrote...

"From a respected cop to a small business owner, what a loser!"

It certainly makes the implication, as well as your prior posts stating how only real cops stay their whole career with the LASD, etc. And your insinuation that you are a "respected cop" does nothing to belie the implication. If you are so scared as to admit you are not only wrong, but wrong headed, don't try to turn this around because you're too stupid to remember what role you're playing. You're a loser, and your immediate elimination form this earth would be none too soon.

not to defend him, but I think BJ meant that North OC went FROM being a respected cop to being a business owner. I read the same thing as you at first. BJ needs to work on his communication skills and stop being so RUDE!

If I win, I'll close all the doughnut shops and p**is enlargement clinics. The cops will have nowhere else to go but back on to the streets to fight crime. Their spouses don't want them home anyway. Vote for me.
