This store has done the ultimate scam on me and my husband. We purchased a 70 CC dirt bike for our 7 Yr old grandson from these people. Big, Huge, mistake. It was delivered in 4 day's coming from California to Kentucky I was impressed with that, but on its arrival the box had been bent and the bikes fender was broken. No biggie, we called they said another fender would be sent. Then gas was put into it and it leaked out the Carburetor, Bad, called them back. Said they would send a new Carburetor. People since Dec.6 a man named Jack, has lied to my husband and myself, as the items were not shipped. I sent an email, they replied items will be shipped today. Wasn't, I called spoke to Jack and a girl named Amy Barnes, they both said the items would be shipped that day. Then on another phone call a man named David as well as Jack and Amy, after me falling apart crying on the phone, said they would be shipped next day air, and Amy would call me in a few minutes to give me a tracking number. That was Tuesday December 19, she never called, they weren't shipped. A man named Henry in the parts dept said he hadn't received any thing on these items and that the staff working up front would lie, lie, lie but that he would send them out that day express delivery would get them tomorrow, well, that would be today, and when my husband called and spoke to Henry today, they had not been shipped. Turns out he lied too. We had also bought a video game system from them as well and it has not been sent either, but they said on all these occasions that it would be. They didn't hesitate to take our money, but can't deliver what they promise, and if you go their website, it says that customer satisfaction is their top priority! NOT! Not telling the truth is their number 1 priority! My grandson only wanted a dirt bike for Christmas and now he isn't getting one because of these terrible people that own/operate that sleazy company. So to you the consumer, if you are reading this and are looking to buy anything from this website www.scooterdepot.us . or the store itself Sunny Sports Inc Arrow Hwy Suite 1, in Irwindale Calif. please think again. I don't want anyone to have to go through what we have. And, I wouldn't disappoint a child for anything. I cry myself to sleep each night knowing that their people in our world that can get away with treating people this bad. Thanks for listening, and May you have a wonderful Christmas and New year! God bless you...
so,now you have made them ship you a complete carb for a stuck needle valve that could have easily been resolved with a tap on carb with it fueled.

Andy - NO...and I mean NO!!!! They are not safe to buy from....they are as corrupt as you could possibly be. I just went through 14 months of legal proceedings to get my money back from them. They never ONCE responded to any me or any of the legal proceedings. I won my case automatically by default. Just check their record on the BBB web page! DO NOT BUY from these....I was going to say people...but they are far from being human.

I bought a scooter from Happy Scooters and it came and it looks nice and all. Right away, I noticed the scooter wasn't the exact scooter I ordered. I also noticed damage to the front rim, missing screws, and things that didn't fit right. When I tried to contact them they would direct me to a different phone number that goes to voice mail which never call back. I tried their web chat but they directed me to an email that never responds. I tried the email on their support page even included pictures and I never have gotten a response back. They even make you pay for the warranty which so far is non-existent. So if you do buy a scooter from them, don't expect it to be complete and don't expect them to care after the sale to help you in any way at all. When you consider that you have to pay for a 6 month warranty and they won't cover their end of the bargain then you realize that they are a total ripoff.

You see, the problem is not "the factory is sending out broken parts," it's the shipping companies that damage them. And the packages are suppose to be insured. So let the claims go thru or accept the replacements being sent. Ever seen policies from Large Co. that says "repair or replace at the companies sole discretion?"
Think out of your customer shell for just one moment and think why this policy has to be in place. If a company will see you products for a fraction of what others are selling it for and enough to entice you with a good price to buy it, their mark-up is actually pretty low. If they will just pick items up, or eat disputes and still help you, or if there is a tiny part that can be replaced but you chose to have them "pick it up and send you a new one" because of a scratch or flat tire or whatever, they won;t be in the business long enough to keep selling you guys affordable products. That is why it is at their discretion to send you replacements or a whole new product.
Talking about the Kia thing... F#ck it, let's talk about a Bimmer thing. You get a car with recalls, body damage that you notice later, leather that is peeling, etc, do you get your money back? Do they give you a new car? Uh... NO! They repair it. Some servie depts suck, some are better. But if you are hunting for one of those new Chinese cars or a Kia or Suzuki b/c of the price, trust me, the service dept ain't gonna be no Lexus dealer. They will have to order parts from Korea, that may take a few weeks and your car will not be working. Will they rent you a car? Merc and Jag, yes... maybe even a loaner. Kia? Good Luck. If their markup on a Kia Rondo is $1000, they can shuttle and rent cars for you until they go into the RED. Now you can kick and scream and yell at the dealer, but THEY DID NOT MANUFACTURE THE KIA. Kia of Korea did. The dealer is just a retailer and a pin cushion there to help you. Go bring a bad attitude to a service dept and "raise hell." They'll tell you to write a letter to Kia of North America and be done with you.
My point is, as long as the retailer you are dealing with is communicating with you on a constant basis, be understanding that at least they are not mom-and-pops working from home. If it were up to the retailer, they'd have perfect products, high margins and Delivery Carriers (3rd party like your local Logistics, UPS, etc) that cared about the item. But the world is not perfect. Lower priced (wholesale) stuff is lower quality, profit margins are pretty darn slim, and the delivery guys don't give a $hit about your stuff. Hence the insurance, the need to send out parts, the need to keep costs low.... so that others like yourself can end upp buying stuff at a fraction of the cost.
You've got to be kidding me? Really? Find a better shipper if they are screwing crap up. The issue I had was to carb..it's well protected. And let's DO talk about the BEEMER...if it has a recall on it, then yes YOU TAKE IT TO A SHOP! THEY do the repair dont they? Why should I buy something brand new and then have to do my own repair on it. ALl I'm saying is if you want to keep a good thing going, you need to make things right with the customer and learn from that experience then make corrections to your own methods to ensure it doesn't continue to be an issue. You people need to get off your "let me take it up the A$$" horse and be more concerned about delivering a sold, good working product. In cluding the delivery.
