This story makes me so angry. No regard for their neighbors or for the cost to the city to enforce the code violations of this husband and wife. Plus their friends are costing us even more by suing and bombarding the staff with endless demands and harassment. I hope I'm not the only one who feels this way. Please view this petition and if the facts anger you as much as me please sign so we can tell the city to stop these destructive individuals.

The listed petition signers are current or former LHHIA (La Habra Heights Improvement Association) Directors.

The LHHIA receives tens of thousands of dollars a year in our tax dollars.

They were singled out for special favor in the new Trash contract where LHHIA gets FREE trash service for their events.
Oh, and you have to pay for it with higher rates.

The LHHIA is a special interest organization seeking to protect their cash flow from your wallet.

Edwards and Blagden wrote the opposition to the $5 million Road Tax ballot measure.
Residents are saving $1 million per year, about $500 per household every year for 5 years, by not having the pork barrel, bloated assessment.
Edwards wrote the opposition to the Oil Tax. The oil tax reduced your royalties.

Blagden and Edwards opposed the massive Water Rate Increase in 2012. The overwhelming mail in protests almost defeated the increase.

Edwards opposes the $3 million remodel of City Hall.
The City's own high-paid consultant said it needed a new roof, plumbing, electrical and other repairs and updates, which would cost about $1 million over 10 years.
Why is the City Council spending $2 million more?
A Brand New City Hall would only have cost $1.9 million.
Why are they spending $1 million more to fix the old one?

Yes, the Loughs had too many animals, but they removed them in 2011 and the City is still pursuing them.
During investigation of questionable legal fees, the Loughs uncovered widespread financial irregularities in City finances.
After the Lough's investigation, the City admitted to Inept Practices, Poor Reporting and Paying Vendors out of the Payroll Account.
The City admitted to more wrongdoing later; unaccounted missing and voided checks, off-warrant spending (not known by the City Council or public).
When the Loughs discovered that checks the City claimed were voided or missing showed up as cashed on the City's bank statements, the city refused to produce the canceled checks, not wanting anyone to know who was paid.

The City Manager admitted the City is under investigation by the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS) for irregularities.
The City's Gas Tax spending is under investigation by the State.

Looks to me like you are going after the wrong people. They are saving you millions and uncovering wrongdoing and waste of tax dollars.

Signing the petition is a vote for corruption and over spending at City Hall.

The Petition has a comment from signer and LHHIA board member Carolyn DiMario:

"Carolyn Di Mario
..... Perhaps they need to relocate to a city who has no public pride and would appreciate the childish, mean-spirited, hateful type of community involvement that they do so well."

Watch the video linked below and see who appears "childish, mean-spirited and hateful".
Carolyn DiMario is the red haired woman who appears at 1:58 into the video shouting "You are not a member".

Most of the the signers also appear in the video, which is of the La Habra Heights Improvement Association annual public meeting. The Improvement Association attack made local and national news.

Funnier humor of the powers that be who run the city.
