When did this incident take place??
I feel for the guards, they probably had bonds with the inmates that derived them to want to help them get taste of comfort by smuggling in contrabands. Of course to the authorities this is illegal, but due to the inmates actions they are still human beings and god wouldn't want dehumanization when we are all equal. I just see it this way, think of yourself in there place an imagine how you'd feel with a little break of freedom??

Just look at them there 2 loser guards in the photos in the clarion ledger story..Listen up citizens of the states of mississippi, georgia and texas..In those 3 states the only people that the dept. of corrections can hire are mirror images of old gangsta and the young-thug bucks..All three states have a 50% guard shortage and are 97% black..The only places they can recruit from is commercials at hard core rap music stations..Why would a real prison guard intent on doing their job want to work in those three states?..Well guess what they don't and these states get what they pay for as seen in those cover story photos..Look at it from their side..They get a state paycheck and they get to make 3 or 4 more times that check by bringing in cell phones, pot, crack, gin and ripple to the inmates..But that ain't a african american prison guards biggest perk..To them work ain't a job..It's a social event.. The HO female guards get to have a baby-daddy right there in their place of employment be it another guard or inmate and not to mention a paid 3 month FLMA Maternity leave..The oversexed average african american male prison guard gets to work on being a baby-daddy while on state time..This is what texas, georgia and mississippi need to do since they are employed at will states..Fire every guard on the payroll..Make starting salaries 3 times what they are now and hire ex-military only..Then inmates will really hate to be in prison.

Well the contraband such as drugs creates a more hostile enviorment for everyone there. Maybe they should not have done the crime that put them there.

They do not get beat by guards. We go to jail for prisoner abuse. If you saw evidence of your son getting beat it almost certainly came from another inmate possibly one he owed a debt to.Get your facts right woman!

my fiance is there. security i believe there gay. iv been touched very sexual. the wemon guards lust after there men. youll no if they have a problem with you theyll touch on you longer. other ladies come in and get right out the ladies in security is jealous of beautiful wemons so if you want to make them angry keep yourself up. my man would of been out but mrs perry that worked for cid wrote him up on a rvr charge who was fired for bringing contriband in and made news and went to jail. she got pay back for lying on inmates i believe she wanted certain ones and when tey wouldnt let her have her way with them she used her authority. but she didnt no they had a new sherrif in town im a child of god working for jesus christ. i put them prayers on her and all the staff at parchman pslasm is a very powerfull book its better then any man made weapon try god. also if your man is there im telling all ladies prray be a wife or a mother the system will leave your man there to the end of the world. if there having a probem write to your governer or mr epps i betcha theyll solve the problem trust me i no im a wittness and thats what your taxes is paying for. be blessed

I think is something that goes on everywhere, in all jails, this system is nogood, we treat our dog's better than we treat these people, it is a jail that should be shut down, and torn down, I had a ralative in there, and now we will be having funeral services for him one day next week, and this is something that goes on in there all the time, if they don't like you, it is a terrible place, and someone there, and the Governor of the State needs to invastigate the entire system, and this is in AMERICA, we are no different from some of these Countries that we are sending our troops to defend, and it's a SHAME. I hope the President of this Country see this, and how AMERICAN people are being treated.

Some inmates are great liars,a lot of them are pampered and get to do things that other inmates can't, RVR or not.Inmates have time to sit and think 24/7, they are conartist some of them!! If your loved one was beaten by an officer, ask yourself was that officer at risk for his or her life, what did the inmate do? Officers do not look for inmates to beat on,something had to have happened that causes an officer to use force!! Give officer some credit they do their best to gaurd other inmates, but, some inmates make it hard for other inmates with trying to prey on officers to do wrong, bring in contrabands etc, There are as many cell phones on Parchman grounds as they are on the streets,SO GET REAL!!
