This County administration sure likes to spend money on studies! It seems the same things keep getting brought up over and over again. Why would ANY county jurisdiction want to get involved with running a water & sewer agency? Remember when they (The County) bought the 30+ acres at Cal-Vada? All the grand plans for it, then the "we'll sell it" plans, then the "lets just use it" plan, then the "rehab the buildings" plan, then the "demolish the buildings" plan..........THEY OBVIOUSLY HAVE MUCH MORE MONEY THEN SENSE. Wait - aren't we also short of money too?

Why not let it sit for awhile, postpone the study, let Hafen continue to run his own water company, and revisit the item in a few years when we know better whether there will even be a Nye County. Haven't the commissioners heard there is a Depression going on?

The Commission is run like a high school student body council with so many inexperienced people wanting to have control of this county. They spend money on studies because they're incompetent that cannot make decisions without knowing the protocols. That is also why this town is NOT improving at all. It will take years for this town to improve.
