Unfortunately for them, these criminals chose to rob a gas station a block from the police station. Another great job APD. Prayers for the clerk who had to endure this attack.

I heard the Flight for Life chopper last night, and the cops were still there this morning, 7:45am. I wondered what had happened.

Yes - good job APD!!! Run these low life creeps out of our town! I have no sympathy for anyone but the clerk, nothing but nice people working at Bernies.

Great job! Thanks to Chief Somerville, Antioch Police and neighboring Police Departments for working together. I counted seven squad cars from four agencies and numerous troops on foot from Antioch to Loon Lake within the hour after the robbery.

Glad these guys weren't very smart. Rob a gas station a block from the police, then head south instead of north. Hope the clerk recovers from this nightmare. Any bets on where they were heading to? Waukegan or North Chicago is my guess.

Thanks APD for another great job. I am sorry that anyone had to lose their life or be otherwise hurt, but there are two ways to avoid what happened:

1. Don't rob other people of their money
2. Do not drive 100 MPH out of town

Not complicated, and sad as the loss of life is, the good news is that three more scum bags are off the street, and at least one of them will not be living off our tax money in jail.

Next case.

Not one single dime of our tax money should go to pay their medical bills. Of course they won't be able to rob for a while so that will leave them unable to pay their medical bills and in the long run we pay anyway. At least we won't be victimized again by having to pay to prosecute one of them.

Looks like Paris's days of victimizing decent people are over! Don't worry the other two will be back on their feet and robbing again in no time! How many times do scum get to victimize people before they stay locked up like the animals they are?

I agree!!! I live off Loon Lake & heard the crash last night. I was just thinking that at least the law abiding citizens will have one less series of court dates & numerous appeals to pay for. Here's an idea: stop breaking the law a-holes!!
