Does anyone know exactly where this happened?

Or any details?

Did the car flip over or hit a tree? There are different stories and wanted to know if anyone knows.

I go by that spot every day..........It looks like it may have done both. You can see the metal scrapes on the street as well as the path to the tree.
I worked late that night or I would have been at that exact spot at that exact time that same day. Sooo sad. Prayers go out to that family.

Went by the area yesterday, didn't notice anything. Was told by someone who lives near there it was on the northwest side of 120. Drove by there 3 times and didn't notice anything on 120 going eastbound toward Wilson.

Came home and then found something in Daily Herald saying it was north of 120 on Wilson. Wilson north of 120 is Baxter's entrance/exit. Where in relation to that was the accident? Didn't notice any huge trees that were hit or anything out of the ordinary yesterday. But, unclear which side to look on.

The curve that was also mentioned is on the south side of Wilson in relation to 120. Not really any trees on that curve.

Can you tell me exactly where this happened? I wanted specific details of location. I don't really want to get the police report. Thank you.

The accident happened on wilson about 100 feet after you pass 134. If you are going south it would have been on your left side.
It appears they were coming from route 60 up to route 134 on Wilson. Its not to far from the stop lights.
Not sure if the Green paint is still marking the skid marks but it was still there lightly on Friday. The car took a path to a tree that again you could still see on Friday. Family members placed flowers on the tree that was hit.

Thank you. Someone told us 120 and Wilson and we were way south of where it actually happened. Ran into one of the aunts from the Dad's side this 4th of July and she didn't even have details. But, she was able to tell me that the car did NOT flip over.

Appreciate it. I will look for the roadside memorial. Sounds like it is just south of the gas station on Route 134 and Wilson. Wonder why the papers and everyone was saying 120 and Wilson.

The car did nnot flip over, it just span off the road and hit a tree. And i miss the driver very much, and his brother, along with my brother, are perfectly fine. But as goes for me, wel.. Im in a wheelchair. And... many people say that it was raining during the accident, BUT IT WAS NOT.

You're all wrong, and so was the paper. The accident happened on Wilson Rd., just *SOUTH* of Rt. 120. If you drive *NORTH* on Wilson, just as you reach the bend in the road *BEFORE* Rt. 120, you will see the skid marks and the tree the driver struck. There are a few memorial mementos on the tree and at its base.

I didn't read any police report or talk to any media, but I can only speculate that the driver came around the bend too fast and came up on stopped traffic (as usual between 5:00 and 6:30) and then lost control as he tried to avoid an accident. Again, TOTAL speculation on my part, but it seems plausible because the stopped traffic that is there daily during the evening rush is blocked by the bushes and vegetation as you come up to the bend.

Oh, and the tree that was hit (with the memorials) is on the righthand (east) side of Wilson Rd., south of Rt. 120. So if you are a lookeeloo (that'd be you, Looking for Info), you need to be looking on right as you drive north near the southeast corner of Wilson before Rt. 120.

FACTS is correct on his facts... the accident did occur at 120 and wilson and you can see the tree the child hit heading northbound on the east side of the road. Probably was going around that bend, i also know the storms were terrible that night and looks like he may have lost control of the car just by looking at the skid marks all over the road, probably just couldnt correct himself. Sad either way.

I'm kind of curious as to what difference it makes where he was driving to? Is it any different if he was driving to church or to Walmart? It's a tragedy either way.
