It is widely known that Trustee Miosi was not a resident of her old adddress and was moved out of her home well before 9/24/08. The appointment of Trustee Smith was another way that this present administration is avoiding elections to choose outgoing trustees. The present administration refuses to stipulate where Miss Miosi was residing during the months of July 2008 thru her resignation date. This is another clear attempt of the village administration to let the people decide through elections on who their trustees should be. The voters also chose to elect their village clerk after this administration attempted to make it an appointed position. One would think that RLB would learn that the same is occuring on the federal arena with Roland Burris in that he was not seated by the senate on 1/6/09. It appears that the Village of Round Lake Beach will only respond though a Civil Rights complaint in Federal Court. This is a travesty and a shame. What further makes this more interesting is that the seated Trustee Tom Smith did not choose to serve as a trustee previously and was not placed on the ballot at the last election. I see a pattern here of not giving the people the right to choose who their electd official should be. I believe it is time for new leadership in Round Lake Beach

Mr. Salazar.

Thank you for a well written comment. I very much agree with your thoughts and insights of us RLB residents in sore need of new leadership, starting with a new Mayor.
Us RLB residents need to stand together as one and make our voices heard come election time.

By the people, for the people...

Well It is pretty well known that Miss Miosi has NOT BEEN A RESIDENT OF Round Lake Beach. We are still demanding her residence address while she was voting for decisions as a trustee in RLB in 2008 and 2009. It is incredible that to become a trustee, mayor or CLERK u must circulate petitions to get on the ballot. It is also required that you reside in RLB. Certainly to serve in any capacity u must reside in Round Lake Beach. Our present administration does not think so. I think it is time for new leadership in RLB. SEE PULL-inc.com

Ms. Miosi lived in RTB in December 2008. I was at her house. So information is very poor.

Mr. Salazar is following his pattern of deceit and lies with no substantial information to support his accusations.

f salazar is a "freak" according to Sen Michael Bond who employed him and fired him. An "intimadating stupid bully" is the true meaning of a "freak". Every town has a village idiot and RLB has fernando. Maybe someday he'll move out of his mother's basement and get a life.

At least F. Salazar is a smart nut job. Anyway, the entire Salazar family is a bit crazy. It's their style.

I agree that we need to start with a new mayor. We need a whole new panel of individuals without the corruption. The village workers contract is up this month. The city is claiming that there is not enough money to pay for the village workers to do overtime on snow clean up but yet as I am writing writing this the mayor is sitting on a beach in Hawaii for two weeks. I also need to mention that he recently received a raise in his position. If there are no funds to pay the village workers to clean our streets than tell me why we are paying for jobs that are outsourced. Super Walmart paid Round Lake Beach $10,000 to be built. Let me also mention Kilbane is also in on the corrupion with Mayor Hill. Many people do not know this. People we need to take part and start taking charge of OUR community. Lets do what is right.

If there is corruption, and you want to do what is right, contact the States Attorney with your allegations. It is their duty to investigate.
