Was it worth demolishing the Squire in Antioch just to have Walgreens move?

This is a tough one.
I have no idea why the Squire moved out.
I do know i always liked the people who owned it and worked there.
Had good times there with my daughter when she was growing up.
But the food itself went downhill.
I pretty much stopped going there around 2007.
I'm going to assume that Squire leaving was a good idea for them. Something they wanted.
Ok with that said since they left something had to move there.
Better a Walgreen then another Dollars for Gold, tattoo parlor, Cigarette shop, etc.
Personally i would have preferred another family style restaurant.
Or a nice romantic kind of restaurant. Gone are those days.

Whats gonna be in where the old Walgreens is now.
I think either the Szechwan Palace should move into it and expand, or I agree, a family style restaurant.
Also, Deep Lake Road and 173 is just becoming another Gurnee Mills. More noise, more garbage all over the place. Now with an Aldi being built, its gonna get more crazy.
