I thought I had seen it all at the many HS basketball games I have attended, but after a visit to Goddard on Saturday night, I was mistaken. I entered the gym and paid my fee only to be greeted by a sign and a "security" guard asking if I was from Alamogordo. I said yes and he said I had to sit upstairs. I have been to hundreds of sports events from middle school to pro and this is the first time I had to sit in a particular section away from the home fans. I really wanted to sit in "their" section but didn't want to make a scene. When the varsity game was about to start I went down to talk to a someone sitting behind the bench and this same "guard" told me to get upstairs, I told him to relax and I would return when I was done talking. Am I the only one to notice this? Isn't this considered dixcrimintaion? Didn't an incident like this happen to a little lady when she wanted to sit in the front of the bus? I believe I will report this to the NMAA to see what they have to say.
You sound like a trouble maker, glad they were on to you from the start. You should of told them you were from Roswell.
