I'm considering a purchase from these guys on a 2007 Infiniti M45 Sport. Car seems to be in almost new condition. Ran autocheck and it comes back clean. Rating of 95. I'm dealing with a guy named Wes. It's a good deal, but now I'm a bit scared off with all these posts. I have a Carfax, autocheck, going to have a dealer check it out. Anymore recommendations which I should do to protect myself? Nice ride, hate to let this one go. I usually buy new so I'm new to buying used. There's still 3 years left on the factory bumper to bumper warranty. PLease advise.

You just said the important deciding factor when considering a purchase from Gacarmart.com / alphacarz.com . You are dealing with the guy, "Wes". He is one of the owners and a really good guy. He doesn't like being categorized as a used car salesman and will shoot you straight. If I was buying a car from these guys, I would definately deal with Wes. I think he is the only american affiliated with these dealerships. I've bought 2 cars from Wes and got a great deal on both of them.

I saw a Lexus at GCM at a great price. The pictures posted on the internet showed a car in great condition. When we got there they had swapped the navigation screen with a broken one. I was promised (in writing) they would replace it - 4 months later I'm still battling them for a navigation screen.

**I WILL GIVE YOU FACTS ABOUT THESE GUYS** Atlanta ultra cars formely Atlanta u/c, Alpha Cars formely known as Ga car mart, macon mitsubishi and few other pakistanis that own these dealerships are Crooks. I'm a buyer for Carmax at auctions and I see what those guys buy at the auctions. Frame damage, flood damage, hail damage or any other kinda damage you can think of. If you bought a car from them with a clean autocheck then it was probably a piece of s**t vehicle and that's why they got it cheap at the auction. Do your homework and Run Autochecks on the vehicle before purchase. Not all dealers are dishonest just google the dealership and see what people have to say about them in their reviews. I do agree with Blues. We are fighting a war against them and on the other getting ripped by them in our own homeland. Do your homework!

I bought a Car from Carmax, the transmission went out after 4 months and I contacted CarMax at the Gwinnett Location. You guys refused to honor any warranties. You should have a lot of nerve to be working for CarMax and coming out and judging other dealerships. CarMax buys cars from the same auctions and sells the same vehicles for alot more profit and when you go there to sell the vehicle your bought from them even after like a few months, they will try to buy it back from you at least $10000 less than what they charged you. CARMAX is a RIPOFF.

GacarMart hired one of my friends to work for them. He tells me that it is a totally a wholesale operation and these guys markup their cars $500 on their invoice price. Now that is a pretty good deal. Also, they know how to buy them cheaply at the auctions. The concept is plain and simple. Honestly speaking, some of you out their should buy from FRANCHISE DEALERS and CARMAX and get raped by them and buy the same cars for thousands more. However, people who know about cars and know the fact that cleaning the car really well before the sale doesn't make it worth more should buy from them, as they truly have great deals.

ALSO, please stop using racist, ethnic language. I don't care where they are from, there is a lot of americans working there as well as others. One thing, they never do is to pressue you into buying something.

You are a part of the manufactured corruption. I verifed with NALLEY LEXUS that in deed these guys are running a scam operation. They knowingly buy wrecked/salvage cars and then pretty them up to sell to unsuspecting customers. Hopefully, they will all find themselves locked in a jail cell before to long.

Hello everyone,
Before I've found about this scam involving GA Car Mart/Alpha Cars, I called them inquiring about a vehicle I'm interested in. None of their phone numbers work and go directly to a voice message box which is full. Has justice been served and they are out of business? I sure hope so.
Thanks everyone for their advice!

I now have 3 clients that have purchased a car/truck from Carmart. 2 came from Springfield Missouri, and 1 came from Rogers Arkansas. In all 3 cases the dealership blantenly lied about the quality of vehicle that they were selling. Luckily one of the clients has all the paperwork that certifies what he has relayed to me.

Not only did they lie about the vehicle in one case Carmart had a repossession crew to steal the vehicle out of garage after it was repaired which is why I was notified about this corrupt company.

If you have been ripped off by this car company, contact the Federal Trade Commission Consumer Complaint dept.

https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/
and your state Attorney Generals office. In Missouri it is https://www.consumer.ago.mo.gov/

This company is a disgrace to all the good honest car company's that are out there. I expect to be filing a Federal Class action lawsuit against this company in the near future. I just need to get a few more complaints against this company.

This dealership is now operating as Alpha Cars http://www.alphacarz.com but the people running it have not change. I pass this dealer every day on the way to work and they are still in operation.

This summer I had looked at cars there but became suspicious after getting some questionable answers to a few questions. I researched online and some of the many negative ratings online.

It became apparent that what these guys are doing is buying cars at auction that have damage/title/ or other problems but have clean Carfax reports. Frame damage listed at auction does not come up on Carfax. Autocheck does have this information which is why they continuously push the fact that these cars have clean Carfax reports (and many people are not aware of Autocheck).

Armed with this information I went back and pretended to be interested in looking at more vehicles. I talked with a guy named Sunny and a few other salespeople there. I looked at a few cars and asked point blank whether the cars had been in any accidents. They emphatically told me no and that they would know at the auction if the car had been in an accident. I asked how they were able to offer such incredible deals. On guy told me that their main business was exporting cars to Dubai so they were able to buy in bulk and get good discounts. They said they ran the dealership just to keep themselves busy during the week in between orders for cars in Dubai. When I was looking at a BMW 545 that was priced about 25% below list, I was told that the "United BMW guys went to take a piss and this one came up so we got a great deal and we are passing it on to you". Looking up the VIN later showed the car had frame damage.

Not surprisingly all the cars had clean Carfax reports. I purchased an unlimited Autocheck account and ran the VINs for the cars I had asked about on the. Each car very specifically stated that the vehicle had been sold at auction as a frame damaged vehicle. I ran other VINs from their website and at the time probably 80% of the vehicles on the lot had frame damage while another 10% had some type of title issue. A few remaining cars on the lot had no issues on Autocheck but based on everything else I'd be hesitant to trust these either.

Selling cars that are previously damaged at the right price has nothing inherently wrong with it as long as the customer is aware of it, but these guys are going out of their way to pretend that they are unaware that these cars have been damaged.

This place is a sham.

All you guys are making a big deal out of nothing. Just b/c a car has been wrecked before doesnt mean its a peice of crap or that you should be able to "return" the car to the dealer. Truth is most cars have been wrecked at one time and some worse than others. Some cars the have a clean carfax and clean autocheck with no reported accidents have been wrecked the worst of all. If you like the car, and it drives good its a good car. Some of the cleanest and best driving used cars that i have seen have rebuilt titles. Just goes to show that there is nothing in a title./

Hi Everyone,

my experience has been exactly the same as others hear on this forum. They guys have to be stopped! I plan on calling a consumer investigator at a local television station to run a story exposing these guys for the crooks they are. It would help the story if there were other victims willing to speak the truth about this guys on air. If you are interested in speaking up, please send me an email at [email protected] with your name and phone number. Please try to contact me as ASAP as I am really heated about this and want to get this done.

Together we can finally teach these guys a lesson they will NEVER forget.

I just work for Carmax. I don't disagree with you that they sell at higher profits. You drove your car four months and then had a transmission problem. It could happen to anyone. Mechanical parts can go bad for several reasons. I wont get into that. That doesn't mean that carmax tried to deceive you and sell you a frame damage vehicle and lie about it. They sold you a clean car and you had problems months later. Alpha carz, Ga car mart, Atlanta Ultra cars are crooks. There is a difference. Secondly they don't only make $500 per car. Frame damage vehicles go dirt cheap at auctions. They are making an average of $3000 a vehicle.

Don't come on the blog trying to defend them. They start lying to the customer from the minute you walk in their facility. They lie, lie and lie some more until they forget what story they told you when you first walked in. Their stories change depending on who u talk to. Every customer that got ripped off by these guys need to file with the better business bureau

Be aware of Atlanta Ultra Cars formely Atlanta U/C. Alpha carz formely Ga car mart. Atlanta Used car center, brand1autos, atlanta auto leasing and few other dealerships that they own or that they are related to

I bought a car from GA Carmart, 2005 Acura TL. The picture was of a perfect car, new tires, and a clean car fax. The driver for the moving company called to describe how bad of shape the car was in, i.e. bald tires, dented side, and a sunroof that was off. GA Carmart refuses to refund my money until I threatened. My relative is an attorney general who was willing to investigate and prosecute them. They finally refunded my money, less shipping cost.. They are truley a dishonest company. Buyer beware.

Thank you to everyone who has posted the truth on this blog. I have been in the used car market for the past few months. I've been to Atlanta U/C to test drive a few lexus'. I was suspicious from the begining and after talking to a few people at different dealerships and reading these posts, I will stay away from these crooked cats. Thanks again.

So I just ran a check using Autocheck and Carfax and it turned out clean (repossession but no frame/flood damage). What else should I check? I'm as interested as anyone else in exposing these blokes if this is truly a scam. Thanks.
