"It is not fair to cause the investors to lose their entire investment because of circumstances beyond our control," Munson said. She wants the county "to treat us like partners and work collaboratively to get through this period."
You are not a partner you are a tenant
A partner has their own equity/skin in the game
What she has is a loan to repay and she can't cover debt service and rent
They are her investors not the public's but she is trying to make them ours
I practiced real estate law and did deals for 27 years before retirement
If she proposed this in the private sector she would be laughed out of the room
What she is hoping for is the patrons put political pressure on the county to essentially make a gift of public funds to subsidize their hobby
Sorry golf is not a middle class welfare entitlement
