Was going to make a flip comment, but the kid actually reminds me of myself at that age, albeit with Branson and other professional hookups in his corner. Remember y'all, at least he can play (more than) one instrument. Now then kid, go listen to some Zep, may they be an influence.

That's OK. I'll do it.

Clearly rich little brats that would be **** without their parents $$$.

I would be willing to bet that Mommy and Daddy pulled some strings to set up their gigs for them after spending thousands on lessons and over-buying whatever equipment their kids want.

Matt is a genuine talent. Just by coincidence heard him for the first time at the Sleeping Lady on last Monday night. He is a kid but he opened my ears. Way better than your average singer songwriter/or band in his lyrics. Good performer. Well worth a trip out of your way to hear him now.

look forward to hearing them.
You hope these kinds of project prodigies at least get some time to be kids too, to get socialized. There are so many phd geniuses in 20 million dollar homes in marin who don't have the social skills to have a conversation.

Matt is nothing like the young pop acts out there right now. His influences are the music WE listened to, and he writes lyrics that would put most successful adult musicians to shame. He is a genuine talent and an amazing person. Smart, responsible, mature, and gifted in many ways. Sure he goes to Branson, but he's created his own opportunities by working the open mike circuit for a couple of years now. No one has pulled strings to get him this gig!

This is fabulous! This kid is planting his garden and following his heart! He is developing his talents to pay his own way! He is hungry to grow!

These boards are always infected by people who B**TCH and MOAN about having to pay taxes to cover kids in Juvenile Hall, drug programs, welfare, food stamps, illegals, blah blah blah. Do something useful with your money for a change - give the kid $15.00 so he can buy some guitar strings or a sandwich!

Here's a young man who represents the complete opposite of the sad, tragic stories WE SEE SO OFTEN ON THESE BOARDS - stories of death and drugs on the streets, drunk driving and teens who are killing themselves and others.

I SAY BRAVO! FIND YOUR VOICE! KEEP GROWING YOUR GARDEN. I WANT YOUNG PEOPLE LIKE YOU AROUND.

All the money in the world won't buy you the ability to be multi-instrumental. If you knew the slightest inkling about music, you would've never made that comment. Or, maybe you would've all same, being an ignoramus and all.
