Things are not going to get any better unless we take the younger ones and set them on a straight path.. We are cutting police and fire so what do you expect here.

duuude, if you want to be an editor sign up with the IJ. Why proofs posts? Is it that you have to be right somewhere in life so you come here?

Here we go with another fools post. I agree with the person who corrected what the story said and then this fool wants someone to become an editor. Just goes to show you how stupid people who post on here really are. They read half a story and then post far from the facts. Wonder what they do for a living or even if they have ever worked

How do you even get ONE flat screen tv in your coat pocket without getting caught? Or did they load the tv's into a shopping cart and make a mad dash to the car?

I walk out of Target with a pack of gum I forgot to pay for and alarms go off, two security guards approach with walkie talkies and a hand on their pistol.

Seriously, they stole clothing from Ross? Glad they set their sights so high on such a high end, upscale store.

Can I make a suggestion to all you criminals out there? If you're going to rob a store, take your haul and leave the area....fast. Do NOT choose a second store to rob in the same shopping center.

Police and fire do not raise children.

People need to take responsibility to raise children in an environment of nurturing, care, values, and safety. People are not living principled lives... so what is happening is not surprising.

Men are not valued for being men. Women are confused about their ability to raise healthy children, and the schools (primarily women) do not know how to reach both men and women in a way that resonates with them.

This isn't so much of giving government more money to "fix" the problems. as it is an issue of taking the time to actually participate and raise healthy kids. Most parent's are ill-equipped to do this...so...basically...we're screwed.

Have a nice day.

From San Leandro, Stockton and Fremont. Isn't it time to eliminate access to Marin from the Richmond Bridge and Highway 37?

o k each one had one flat screen over head but one had two for the driver needed some spsce to drive . I would make them pay for the stuff they stold plus the time for the cops, time for jail space and court cost . but do not blame the cops when they get out of jail before time . but still makethem pay for all the stuff they stoled after all thats what they wanted so make them pay up and charge 10% interest .
