So Savini, from Roslyn, has a friend in Bushwick? Sounds like the "friend" was more like his connection. Lots of Long Island junkies take the Grand Central Pkwy. to the Jackie Robinson Pkwy. to Brooklyn to score drugs. Given this jerk's prior heroin possession arrest, he was probably in a hurry to get another fix, which is why he was "impatient", drove around the other vehicles, and ultimately struck the disabled car. Who else would be going from Long Island to Bushwick after midnight? The initial accident involved a driver who was going 90 mph after drinking, which led to the first accident, and ultimately, his death and the maiming of his passenger. The shame is, given these facts, this whole tragedy was preventable.
