The true facts!!

Diabetes is one of the prime causes of heart disease. 95% of doctors do not know how to treat it. Many doctors, I don’t know the percentage, but I’ll bet its up there, don’t know about health or nutrition. They don’t really know what causes heart disease, they only know what the pharmaceutical companies tell them. It is not just cholesterol. In fact Cholesterol is only a small part of it. When you see a doctor, all they can do is write a prescription and or send you for tests which usually result in more tests, surgery or more prescriptions.

Another point for those of you in Suffolk should know. Suffolk County used to have one of the best pediatric heart surgery facilities in the state if not the nation. For political reasons, it was arbitrarily and capriciously shut down by the Health Commissioner under Pitaki because she did not get the job as the Dean of the Madical School. The New Commissioner underwhoever is our governor now followed suit.. If your child should need such treatment, you are %$^& out of luck.

Another point! When you choose a doctor, it could be prudent to choose one that is at least as healthy as you are.

"Affluent" is a relative term. Compared to most of New York state, the majority of the U.S. and most certainly compared to the rest of the world, Long Island is a very affluent society. One need not be very "intelligent" to understand that. Sorry if you are felling insecure. Get over it and broaden your perspective a little.
On the average, people make more on LI but the cost of living wipes out any increase in income .

So true, I fled there 3 yrs ago and now I am finally laid back. I still frequent the craphole over my business interest finding that working only three days on LI affords my PA home and support for my family. I'd rather not be out there at all since my blood pressure has considerably dropped since moving up here .

Bollox.

The "cost of living" afforded to SS recipients and fed retirees most recently was 1.3%.

Do your own damn math to calculate the increase in fuel oil, car gas, food and school taxes and take your sanctimonious blather where the sun don't shine.
