Where to chow down on chowder

Chowders have year-round popularity, but when it starts feeling a bit like New England around here, they're even more appealing.

Legends of New Suffolk makes the best chowder on LI. It is tomato based with clams and lots of crab meat. Great sports bar to catch a game.

Ate there once, it was just- OK...Look for the Historic marker nearby...hint, submarines.
