Except for the 'projects', Roslyn Heights is a nice area. Gee, I wonder who this loser Hillis is, and what tribe he belongs to. You just don't get this type of crime without the right group of people.

I hope the elderly woman will be OK.
This thug deserves to be shot.
this happened by the "projects" in roslyn heights.
the projects got to go, everytime something happens in roslyn heights its all associated with the people living in the projects,
1. robberies at the train station = person from the projects
2. mother leaves toddler walking streets alone = person from the projects
3. teenager makes up kidnapping story = person from the projects
4. riot breaks out community center = people from the projects
5. quizno's gets robbed = person from the projects
6. taxi driver shot and killed = happened by the projects
7. car breakin's along local streets = person from the projects
8. drug dealer at high school = person from the projects
ETC, ETC, ETC, when is it going to end.
The community as a whole needs to get these apartments shut down. Section 8 housing does not belong to be put in the middle of communities, with working class people.
absolutely agree

I agree with your last line. It isn't fair that hard working people have to live in communities with thugs who won't pay their own way. If you expect the government to care for you, you don't have a right to live in a higher end community. Period.

You are exactly correct, and adding Section 8 housing is PRECISELY what Suozzi and ACORN want to do to Garden City, and to split the town apart with his rail lines...their thought is you have every right to live in a high end community even if you do nothing to earn it except live off the dole...
