They wanted a cell phone. Now they have a pay phone near their jail cell. They can call that a cell phone.

Boy, 14, beaten for cell phone
Something is wrong with American education & culture when individuals resort to crime & violence. Culprits, beating a 14 years old lad to steal his cell phone, knew nothing about right/wrong, good/bad, cell phones, stealing etc when coming out their mother's wombs. On paths to maturity they formed character by watching & listening to others. So who was teaching them?

Roslyn Heights is not the ghetto, just so you know. Why was the kid selling his cell phone? What did he need money for? He is 14. If he had a cell phone, maybe the people that bought it for him could give him some money....it just sounds fishy.

A 14 year old just goes off and meets some men to sell his cell phone. Where are the parents of this kid? In this day and age, I keep a very close watch on where my 14 year old is going, who he is with and what he is doing.

Really. Where were this kid's parents? Why would he meet with adults and try to cell his phone? Does he not have common sense? Nice parenting. Thank God for the passerby
