I cannot forgive him. The best thing that this POS Matthews could do would be the only thing that he has ever done and that would be to go swimming

What I find interesting is all of these poor Blaine comments. I dont think anyone's life should end that way, however, I dont seem to be seeing anything about Blaine's criminal history. Blaine shot and killed a man in the late 80's over a drug deal. The man he shot and killed left 2 small children behind. He killed Duane brutally. Shot him in the head. So,,,,case in point? Since then, and several years served in prison its obvious Mr. Christopherson didnt learn a thing!!! How ironic he dies in the same manner as the crime he committed several years ago. As tragic as this may be for Blaines family, lets also try and remember Blaines victim and the victim's children. They have had to live all of their childhood without a father, all over a stupid addiction!!

No, you do not get 1/3 off if you get a life sentence. He'll do 30.

No, he does 30 if he got a "life" sentence. It is an exception to the general rule that you do 2/3 time if you behave.

no you are wrong, the guy that shot and killed my friend got "life" 35 yrs in 1997, oh guess what he gets out after 17 yrs. Another person involved with my friends murder got JDC until he was 21, he gets out kills another innocent person in 2003 and he gets out of prison before his friend for the original Murder in 1997.

Explain that.. MN life stentance is not life it is a BIG JOKE

Good. Another POS criminal locked up forever. Too bad we are too cowardly in this state to get the death penalty (not that he would ever get the needle with the nearly infinite appeals they are allowed).
