WHAT A LIE; NOTHING BUT A SHELL GAME!!! Read the real details on this one folks. The guv'mint may have been paid off BUT all they did was borrow the loot from someone else to get the politicians off their backs. Chrysler is still in debt for that same amount. The good thing though is that WE the taxpayers are now less in debt.

Are they going to pay their bondholders who got screwed over when the government stepped in and thwarted the legal process?

I was a loyal GM customer for thirty years in spite of the communist influence over their labor force.
I never cared much for Chrysler products as they always seemed to be "second rate" in quality. I really took a dislike for the company after the first "bailout".
After this last fiasco I went with Ford, as they were the only one of the big three that avoided the full-on communist take-over through redistribution of ownership that was engineered by the illegitimate Marxist bastard regime in power.
I can't say that I'm completely thrilled with the Ford.
I guess that paying a six-figure salary to crack-addicted assembly-line drones with six-dollar skill just doesn't make for quality automobiles anymore.
The big three are dead. They were killed by communists.
McCarthy was right.
