THIS IS SOMETHING YOU CAN DO. IF YOU ARE FED UP WITH LOUD OBNOXIOUS BOOMING, THUMPING CAR STEREOS AND THE IDIOTS THAT ARE VIOLATING US ON A DAILY AND NIGHTLY BASIS HERE IN ROSEVILE, PLEASE CLICK ON THE LINKS BELOW AND WRITE EMAILS OF PROTEST TO THE FOLLOWING "LEADERS."

Roseville City Manager Steve Truman

Roseville Mayor John Chirkun
[email protected]

Colleen McCartney: [email protected]
Bill Shoemaker: [email protected]
Robert Taylor: [email protected]

Please email these people on a daily basis until they get the message that we, as a community of hard working tax paying citizens, are sick and tired of being VIOLATED in the privacy of our own homes by idiots who drive around with their car audio systems and boom box speakers blaring and vibrating us to no end. This happens every day and every night and we must demand action in the form of HIGHER FINES, STRICTER PENALTIES and the CONFISCATION of these car audio sound systems! WE ALSO NEED THE GUARANTEE OF GREATER ENFORCEMENT OF THESE NOISE ORDINANCE VIOLATORS! START PULLING THESE NOISE ORDINANCE VIOLATORS OVER AND GIVING THEM TICKETS!

Email each and every one of the above mentioned city officials until you get action!
The time has FAR EXCEEDED SOMETHING NEEDING TO BE DONE AND IT'S TIME WE TAKE OUR STREETS AND NEIGHBORHOODS BACK! I'M TIRED OF THE NOISE, AREN'T YOU?

So glad you went to school Ken....was it Roseville Schools? How about you learn to appreciate respect and have consideration for others? I swear to God, you come thumpin in my neighborhood, you'll be drinking milk shakes for 6-8 weeks. You're an idiot in the way you think, the way you conduct yourself and it's obvious because of the way you spell....or can't spell. How about if you don't like the laws the way they were intended, YOU move asswipe. There are noise ordinance laws and you need to adhere to them. If you choose not to, then you choose the consequence and trust me, you'd rather get a citation.

I agree noise ordinances do need to be enforced. Just as I get ready for bed, the night before Easter Sunday, my neighbors are blaring there outdoor stereo just after 10:30. Oh, and Freedom of Speech, do you even know what the history is behind it, what your rights really are? Disturbing the peace is not freedom of speech!

I was listening to my system in my cousins driveway and an undercover roseville cop pulled up and starts telling me he had a noise ordinance and changes the subject to he smells marijuana.. which in fact was a lie because i said search me if you want i dont have marijuana and he said no thank you..strange if he could smell marijuana but didnt search me. Then hes telling me if i keep playin my boom box he will write me up throw me in jail started fidgiting with his gun i mean seriously who hires these fat fucking clowns.. if we push these laws your giving police the ability to do anything they want. Soon theyll arrest you while your having a party or playing music. Enjoy the facts they have the biggest guns and the power. Im only trying to learns you since ive lived here my whole life and if you dont like bass they sell ear plugs at cvs

My neighbor blasts his Lawrence Welk music on the T.V. because he's hard of hearing. It drives the neighbors nuts. Then he and his 80 year old wife jitter bug dance on the front porch. She flashes her cans and it makes me sick to watch. God help us all. I wish Arjay's was still open too.

what is the typical punishment for a noise nuisance 895 loud stereo ticket in Roseville? and why is it marked as a misdemeanor, instead of a civil infraction? I have stereo in my car with subs and you could ask any of the people who live by me, and they would tell you I have always been respectful, never playing it at night and always making sure it was turned down before entering my subdivision, and that i have never been a nuisance with it. but recently I received a ticket for this violation listed above, and I was driving down Gratiot, on a nice day around 6 pm, further more my car was not sitting at a light pounding music, I was driving and was pulled over and given a ticket, now I understand there is rules that need to be followed and guidelines for noise violations, but at what point does it become more about writing tickets for money and less about the people

I live just off Gratiot, and my windows get shaken by the inconsiderate louts with subs. All hours of the day and night. Some people choose to sit and park in some of the businesses while blaring their music. I used to try and ask these guys myself to move away from the residential area, but I was threatened more than once. Now with any disturbance, I figure out where it is coming from and I call the cops. They often DO take care of these complaints.

It is your fellow sound system enthusiasts are the ones ruining your own fun. Guilt by association. If you really think you were in the right, take your day in court.

By the way, I wish more car stereo and car enthusiasts were educated and open minded like yourself. I am an old-school hot rodder and have to deal with the fallout for all the knuckleheads with overly loud exhausts, street racing in traffic, or generally screwing around on Gratiot.
