At least they did not have to rebuild a $200,000 horse barn for this fiasco.
When confronted with the news that nothing was found, the tipper said, "They must have moved the body." Right.
The core drillings they made this time were 4" in diameter, somewhat of a standard now. Imagine that cutting through a decayed corpse with pieces of bone and such. One could argue that it would be desecrating a body. A find of any kind would have been a huge story.
We're probably good until next year now without any more leads.
