A Great Plan Proposed!!
We hope it materializes!!!
A Ulster County Commuter Bus to Dutchess County
MTA Metro North Commuter Trains!
Currently
Crowded, Expensive and Limited Scheduled
Trailways Buses are the only
Public Transportation System to NYC in Ulster County, leaving commuters at the mercy of
Trailways with its arrogant attitude
toward its riders, forcing commuters into over crowded buses along with its strict commuter plans.
Since Ulster county has a large number of
daily commuters to NYC and presently only one
private bus system, the new Bus-to-Train
system will become over crowded quickly.
So we hope the plan will have many buses and
wide variety of pickup and drop off time tables
to accomodate everyone using the new system

It will be happening Mid Sept 2008. This is good but what about Nothern Dutchess residents? It is only a matter of time until Metro North RR expands to Rhinecliff and Tivoli. It is not a question of if this going to happen....it's a question of when.
