Sheriffs Election

I am a Republican but I don't see how that makes a difference in a Sheriffs election. They do nothing to create the laws just enforce them.

I am also a Republican, always been a Donini supporter, but enough is enough. He is to comfortable with his job, just trying to coast by and collect a big check. we need a new Sheriff, somebody who cares about his job, thats why im voting Goins.

try to get the one we got out of his office, for something other than getting his name and/or picture in the press, and you are doing something.. and i'm sorry that you have to admit your politics to show prestige in your statement! vote with your heart, not a political reference!

Please get out and vote, we need a new sheriff in this county. I'm not asking for a vote for any certain candidate, but we have two new choices. The current one has been around to long. Just look at the shape were in, it speaks for its self.

He has been made aware by several people of a very bad situation 2 little girls are in at Miller Manor apartments involving drugs and a guy that is a known sex offender( who is left alone with these little girls ALL the time). I guess family members tried to protect the little girls only to have the wonderful Sherrif deputy's take them and put them right back in the bad situation the family was trying to protect them from. The 6 year old already does inappropriate things that a 6 year old should know nothing about. Makes you wonder what is happening to the poor child when her mother leaves her alone with this guy. A very sad situation, if our Sherrif doesn't care enough to protect these kids he definetly needs to go!

Sheriffs Dept. has nothing to do with child custody maybe they should go through children's services which they are suppose to. Has the kids had stuff done to them? Or the parents just dirt balls and probably doing drugs right? If mom is so worried why don't she leave? I think it's the mothers fault if the guy she is with is doing something to her kids, she is a unfit mother for leaving her kids in that situation right???? Because he is a known sexual predator, according to you, who is also concerned bc you haven't offered to watch the kids right and help get them out of the situation. I'd try to blame anyone and everyone to dear.

Children services has been notified...and said since the sherrif dept is aware of the situation there is nothing they can do right now and emergency custody has been filed...as for the mother...she is on drugs too and obviously does not care and I would have the children all the time if the mother would let me! Trust me EVERYTHING that can be done legally to protect thess little girls....has been done......nobody wants to do anything to help them.....all the resources out there to supposedly help children is a big joke! Thats why so many children are beat to death, raped, starved to death or just left to fend for themselves at young ages....because no one will do anything to help them when it is reported!

Children's services is a joke and they always pass the buck because they don't want to deal with it and half the time they don't even notify the proper authorities.

Thats what I said.......now you get it! No one will listen or help! The 6 year old went to a neighbors apartment crying the other day at 7:30 in the evening....when asked what was wrong...she said "Mommy won't wake up and I am hungry" :( how sad is that she hadn't eaten since she had lunch at school earlier that day! The emergency line for the hildren services was called and a number left with No response from them so the sherrif was called and the guy thaat answered the phone said "well she went to the neighbors before...she'll go again if she needs to" and refused to send a sherrif to check on the children.....how cold is that?

the sad truth is it seems like this happens all the time around scioto county! i think the sheriff's dept. should be required to investigate all emergency calls, reguardless of the response on a callback. i mean they now have new cruisers, i'm sure they have cupholders, don't they?lol

Vote Goins for Sheriff....... Let's stand up for our Community and Get rid of the Drug Dealers. They've had it to easy to long!!!!!
