My father was a Mason heading up the ladder to becoming a Shriner when he passed away years ago. He had deep respect for those organizations and was comforted by the great charitable work they do. Visit the Shriners Hospital in St. Paul - it's an amazing place. Too bad the Mason that NoDOubt works with is jerk. I would say he is rare as the Masons and Shriners I've met over the years are great people.

You're not bright enough to have a sense of humor beyond a 10 y.o. You stumble/bumble into subjects that are way over your head.

Got a solution for you, stay away from my posts. you are an ornery phart itchin for a fight. Just skip over them like you would a Doonsbury cartoon on the conics page. Oh I forgot, no sense of humor. So anyway, the next time you feel like lashing out at me for no reason, take the idea an stash it in a dark place next to your head.

You are too dumb to get this, but it is YOU who put yourself out there for comment when you post you idiot. This is a public forum so I will NOT "stay away from your posts" and I WILL respond to their stupidity. If you don't like it, then stop posting dumb comments on political or social topics of which you know little to nothing. As I mentioned before, I have seen you repeatedly do this same thing on other threads, get criticized, get mad. It is YOU who are the moron. If you wish to advertise it, then you WILL get nailed, simple.

Three cheers to the Freemasons and all of the fraternal organizations who regularly get written up in the PP. Their efforts are grand and well know. Someday I'd like to see an article in the PP about the people responsible for the other 99.5% of the charitable efforts in the world. Let's read about the unsung volunteer working the soup kitchens, shoveling walks for the elderly, reading to children in schools and scads of other lower profile duties. The socially conscious people that just "suit up & show up" regularly to volunteer without the "brass band" given to the high profile organizations deserve some recognition too.

Thank you for your candid remarks. I'd like to remind you that my original remark though juvenile, was on topic. So far you have done nothing but attack me. Do you have any comments on the Freemasons, or are you content to troll the thread for inflammatory opportunities?

There's plenty of information out there on the Masons. All you have to do is goole Freemasonry and you will readily see it is an out and out cult. It is a very dangerous disorganization, and once you get in - it is next to impossible to get out. Talk to any ex-mason and they will tell you the same. Don't be fooled by the publics acts of kindness displayed - even satan comes as an angel of light. If it is such a great organization - WHY ALL THE SECRETS? WHAT DO THEY HAVE TO HIDE? Best advice - stay away from these people and Freemasonry.

The Freemasons and their adjutant Shriners have done more good in this country, the hospitals being but one public example. The Freemasons or Shriners rarely get any publicity, and if they do it's dumb boobs like you who make fun of their headwear. You continue to post without thinking when you somehow manage to imply we always hear about these "fraternal organizations" (which we don't) and never the individual (meaning you) who helps somebody on their own.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Gemini

You'll need every ounce of patience today because even the best-laid plans could go up in smoke under the Full Moon lunar eclipse. It seems that certain people are doing their best to throw spanners in the works, and the more annoyed you become the more they'll goad you still further. If there's dissent in the ranks about how to spend New Year's Eve, you may decide to go your own sweet way and prove that you're an individual in your own right. But try not to let any bad feelings mar the celebrations. Have a fantastic night!
