they messed with us too. they are saying that our house depreciated eventhough they have not done a appraisal. our property has only increased, trust me look at our taxes. they put a freeze on our equity line of credit. we would definitely be in on this if it has to do with that.

I agree about the credit card companies unfair practices. It's time that us little guys get together and fight back.

I think there is a reason behind their website issues--at least 1/2 the time, it is "down" and I can't pay my bill. That might be the only time I had available that day or that night to sit down and pay it, and then, guess what--I'm late and they hit me with finance charges and late fees and a black eye on my credit. Their site has been down so many times that I am actually surprised when I find it up and running! I really think it is willful and planned to trip up the customer so he will HAVE to be late. I wish somebody would form a class-action lawsuit over that--I'd be the first one in line!

Rebecca yoou need to call them and raise holy hell and demand they remove the late fees. I've had a situation where the payment was due on a holiday and they were closed. Despite the fact I sent it to them electronicall so they would recieve it the working day before the holiday they still tried to ding me because they also gave that day off to their employees. Nothing in my billing statement said those were holidays. I bitched to them and they removed it, but geez what ever happened to common sense.

Bank of America is now going after people that pay their bill electronically ON TIME! They claim they need 24 hours to process money they accepted before business hours began on the bills due date. Sounds like a suit should be brought here as well!

Listen folks, the skinny of the matter is when you singed the agreement to open your account, you all agreed to the potential fees that would be rendered and/or charged to your account for services that go beyond the call of regular banking activity....its all in the small print that you don't read and the bank doesn't point out. Forever and a day, the banking industry has taken advantage of EVERYONE who has misfortune. Their fees are unfair, extorting and downright unlawful when it comes to normal business practices. However, because we've all agreed to their terms and because the system is setup so that we must utilize banks in one way or another, there is hardly any recourse available. The government has allowed these practices since the beginning of banking because we always sign the forms and agree to them ourselves. The only reason some of you are getting on board or feeling the wrath of the banking industry is because of the state of the economy. A lot of us are having to rob Peter to pay Paul these days just to make ends meet. When that begins to happen, the sharks (the banks) come out to feed. It's been happening to the poor for as long as the bank has been around. Welcome to the light... Now maybe some of you won't frown down on the person you see in line complaining about the 300.00 dollars in service fees the bank put on their account because of a couple of dollars or a missed transaction they forgot to record. A class action suit...well, I have an idea that can get things started and now is definitely the time to begin since the medium to high-medium income families are beginning to feel the power the bank has, or what we give them when we sign our names on the terms and regulations forms. I told Commerce Bank that I would be David to their Goliath and because I know sooo many people who are being extorted and treated unfairly by the entire banking industry. I have formulated a plan and just waiting to find an attorney who has a big enough heart to begin the process. Be on the lookout for a very public petition and feel free to jump on the wagon once it begins to roll!

could you please explain better? i am sick of them too. we have had a equity line of credit for years only using half of it. one day we needed it to buy a peice of equipment and the bank said it was locked! very confused we were. bank of america said that they sent us a letter in the mail saying it was locked. freakin liars!! then they said they locked it because our house value decreased. again liars!! i asked to see a copy of the appraisal and they said they did not do an appraisal! ok. the values of homes in our area have only gone up! plus we live on 5 acres in a very desireable part of town! we are going to pay them off and NEVER use them again. they said we could go through an appraisal to try and get it back up. KISS MY ASS Bank of AMERICA!

(Quote Johanna Sarad," I would like to form a class action suit against Bank Of America"). Johanna, me and my other half have had the same problem with Bank Of America. They suspended our Visa credit card and closed our account without our knowledge and without our consent after we made a formal complaint to the federal authorities about them raising our rate several times. They violated their own credit card agreement which says that they have to give a consumer 15 days notice before they close someones acccount. They did not give us any notice at all. Email me, I would like to chat with you...my email address is party2@cox.net

Has Anyone been able to start a class action suit against Bank Of America? We have had the same trouble with them raising our rate to 32% with no reason, then they closed our account and our card, without our knowledge or consent.

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Scorpio

The thought of the sales is almost too good to resist today, and you'll jump at the chance to see what's on offer. Even better if you can snap up some bargains at the same time. It's certainly a good day for investing your money carefully, but make sure you aren't more seduced by the reduction in the cost of something than in the item itself. Are you certain that you want to buy it?
