I live on the other side of the river--the Chicory Ridge Way side, which is a few feet higher and offers a worrisome view of Edgemere
Terrace--and the water seems even higher today, Sunday, January 27, 2008.
Riverside Park is likewise flooded considerably.
Is the river supposed to rise yet further?
FYI: some proposed building sites on this side further down Chicory Ridge Way are also flooded.
Do they really plan to buld there?

It's odd...North of Beloit there are ice jams. Around Riverside park it's clear. Then past the dam the ice is backed up again.
