It was really neat to see the Clydesdales yesterday. My 3 1/2 year old son really enjoyed it. Thanks for making this happen in our town. These horses are beautiful!

{{{(A golf cart with a barrel and shovel also followed behind, just in case.)}}}

Probably should have had that young man with the filthy mouth, who got arrested the other day for shoutin' his profanities in Kent, on this detail.

Good for Kent though. They've had very little on the positive side goin' for them lately.

I understand that the noise from the Clydesdales could be heard from over 30 feet away. I wonder why Anheuser-Busch wasn't cited for a noise violation...

I've been to the Anheuser-Busch brewery in Merrimack, NH. I believe this team came from there as the tour mentioned that the Merrimack teams did all the promotional visits east of the Mississipi River. These horses are exceptional in every way. And they are treated like royalty by the A-H brewery folks (the stables have nicer woodwork than most homes).

It's very cool to see them touring 'Main St.' I bet the kids who saw them won't very likely ever forget that experrience.

And if anyone gets anywhere near Boston, MA or upper New England, a stop at the Merrimack, NH brewery is a really cool place to go. I know that sounds kinda stupid, but the tour they give is great (and free IIRC) and the tour of the Clydesdales' stables is worth the trip alone.

As a child my parents took the family to see the Clydesdales when they were here in Akron, it was an experience I will never forget. The absolute grandeur of the horses is still very vivid.

I believe the Clydesdales were in town for the opening of The House of LaRose.

I'm sorry I missed the most recent visit.

WHAT MAGNIFICENT CREATURES! NOW IF THEY WOULD ONLY ALLOW CIGARETTE MANUFACTURERS THE PLEASURE OF DELIVERING TO BARS, RESTAURANTS? BOTH CIGARETTES AND ALCOHOL KILL...WHY ALLOW ONE AND NOT THE OTHER?

Because people don't die from second hand alcohol poisoning.

Not to hijack this thread more than it already has been, but contrary to what you have been brainwashed to believe, people don't die from second-hand tobacco smoke either. There is absolutely no empirical evidence which shows a causal relationship. Even the WHO's own study into second-hand smoke failed to show a causal relationship existed.

A myth created from social engineerin', congratulations y'all bought into the myth as intended. Y'all have the same chance of gettin' cancer, from breathin' iff'n there weren't any cigarettes at all. Trucks, cars, industry and nature are puttin' toxins into the air, at thousands of times the rate cigarette smoke is bein' released.

Hmmm, mebbe y'all should spend more time on the message instead of the delivery. It's the message that's important.

Besides, y'all are the one with the accent.
